Anyone have Carpal Tunnel?

I have noticed that my fingertips go numb at different points throughout the day. I am on the computer ALOT for work and to DIS so I am wondering if this may be a sign of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Has anyone else had these symptoms?? It is getting really annoying.

Sounds like your getting a touch. It only gets worse.
Unfortunately, I do have CT. My wrist starts to itch and then my hand/wrist/fingers will go numb. I tried to see a DR about it and she said I would need surgery. I am a professional chef and to risk losing the use of my right hand was career ending. SO I bought a brace at my local grocery store. I wear it when my symptoms occur. So far I don't have too many problems. The brace works pretty good. I did buy a brace for my other wrist too.

sounds like CTS to me. I've had 6 surgeries on my left wrist, 1 on the right. They were caused by the type of work I was doing at the time. I'm in the minority tho, usually 1 surgery will fix the problem. Try the braces, sleep in them also. Buy 2, even if only one wrist is bothering you, because most people will start using the other hand more while one is splinted. Usually the dr will try cortesone shots before recomending surgery.
