I'm a teacher's aide and the teacher I work for has had calcifications that are checked every 6 months. She went on Friday and was told she'd need to have a biopsy and possibly have them removed. Her sister has had breast cancer so it does run in her family. Anyway, she'd like to have them removed and is debating if she should be put under anesthesia or not. What is your opinion, if you've had this done and what is the recovery period like? She was thinking of possibly going over our Easter vacation. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks!
