Anyone have any luck getting Disney IT to solve the problems with online booking

Like so many others, I can't book anything within my 180 + 10 online. I can see the available times, but can't book. I called and waited on hold for IT for about 20 minutes, but I was at work and had to hang up before a representative came on. The CM that put me through to IT had no idea about the online booking issues. Before I spend another good chunk of time on hold, I wanted to see if Disney IT has been successful in helping anyone else fix the issues with their online booking woes. TIA.
 
Talked to someone in IT about it a few days ago and they acted like there was no issues they were aware of. In fact every CM I've talked to has said that. It's frustrating because it's obvious there's an issue if so many of us are having the same problems.
 
It makes the situation even worse that they won't acknowledge the problem. I hate having to call in and spend 30 minutes on hold trying to get or change dining reservations.

I guess I won't even bother calling IT if this is the response they are giving out. Thanks for passing along your experience with them. Hopefully, the problems won't last forever!
 
I agree there is no way IT isn't aware of the issues. The individual CMs may or may not be, but it has to have been escalated to IT by now. That being said, I am sure everyone is scripted to not acknowledge it because doing so would bring on demands from a lot of angry guests who could not book what they wanted due to Disney error.

It's incredibly frustrating - I missed out on BOG dinner and the dessert party myself due to the glitches, despite logging in prior to 6 am and being on hold for 2.5 hours - but I just keep reminding myself that there are a ton of other options and my vacation will still be amazing using those other options. We booked 'Ohana instead of BOG and that will be our first time there, so I'm excited! Plus tons of people say they find openings as time progresses and I've had the online system work within the 180 day window no problem, so I will continue to stalk for the dessert party.
 

I also can't book 4 out of my 7 day trip... I get a I'm sorry error. I missed out on BOG and I call them every hour to see if their are any cancellations. really sucks
 
I have called a couple of times and told CMs about the problem. They claim not to know anything about it and transfer me to someone at MDE. It has been 3 days now and I am still having the same problems. I really hope this doesn't carry over to making FP+ reservations. That will be a nightmare.

I am in a similar situation - I can only book online first few days of my trip. I found out thought that I can search available times for the rest of my trip on the app if I try "Things to do" and then "Dining", checking each restaurant individually. I cannot book it but at least I know what is available before I call. That's how I got better time for BOG once more times opened up.

I wish I was able to do that... I could only get up to November 17th when I have a reservation til the 23rd. frustrating!!
 
The online system finally started working for me this evening!! My 180 day period opened Monday and I was online at 6 am, but like so many others, could see all my days, but couldn't make any reservations. Tonight I was checking my reservations and was actually able to make a couple. I notice that on MDE my resort description now looks different. The description of my dining plan looks slightly different. Maybe Disney is identifying the accounts that are affected by their glitch and is going through and fixing them. At least there is hope!! Hang in there everyone still experiencing problems.
