I'm looking into getting a new cell phone/pda and I was looking at this. I can get it through Verizon (by signing up for another 2 years) for $200.

Anyone have any experience with this device? If so, what do you like about it or dislike about it?

Thanks :flower:

I had one and HATED it, so I sold it on eBay. DFi has one and loves it. Personally, I found it too bulky to use as a cell phone (I talk on my phone often). Yes, you can use a headset, but when I left my headset in the car, it was pretty useless to me. I wasn't wowed by the reception quality on it either (it's not the worst, but not the best I've had). If you like having your life all in one piece of equipment, you'll probably like the phone. If you're going to be using it more as a PDA, you'll like it. If you want something with a great phone quality, this is not the phone for you.

FYI, Sprint has a better data plan on those phones than Verizon does. We switched to Verizon, so now DFi can't use the internet on the Treo because I refuse to pay the ridiculous fees. That's just my opinion. YMMV.

DW has one and loves it for the e-mail capability, but as the previous poster mentioned, she hates talking on it, because of its bulkiness.

Talking on it is not easy, but I really love it!

I can check email and surf the web as well as the other PDA features. There is alot to it that I have not found yet :)

I have it. I don't mind the bulkiness of it when talking on it. I love the date planner thing. I used to love the web browsing on it but now I can't see it and there is no way to change the font size that I can figure out. i am looking into gettting a new PDA where you can change the font size. I am with sprint.

I had the original Treo 300 - now that was bulky. I upgraded to the Treo 600 when it came out, but did not upgrade to the 650 as it was mostly just bluetooth and video that were added.

I love my Sprint Service. I don't mind the size at all, but maybe because the 600/650 model is so much smaller than that old 300.

My one big complaint is that the battery life is the pits. I often have conference calls that last over an hour. That will eat over half the charge of a fully charged phone.

3 or 4 people that I work with have them and RAVE about it....

Don't know if that helps at all - but it is a running joke around here Blackberry people vs Treo people...

I have one. I do like the features, but I don't like using the phone. We have them at work now and we've had some software glitches and major hardware failures. I'm not a fan of Sprint though and cannot wait until our contract is up.

My husband has one and loves it! Before the 300 came out he had to carry
1. daytimer
2. phone
3. pager
4. keypad (for entry into homes for sale)
Now he has the one device. He upgraded to the 600 or 650, can't remember which. They also play MP3s, etc. He used to look like he was wearing Batman's utility belt, much better now ;)

Just got mine in FEB and LOVE it but the Verizon plan is a bit pricey.

I had an Ipaq 6315 before this and loved the bigger screen but hated the bulky feel of it.

I can surf, email, take pix or video and talk on my Treo. LOVE it. :)

Now all I need is a Bluetooth headset that works (my Motorola one is hard to hear on) and I will be all set. :thumbsup2
