of the ways to get from WL to the different parks of WDW? We are renting a car this December and dont' want to spend a lot of time driving and looking for our destination. We will use the Disney transportation, but sometimes it will just be nice to go and resort hop and look at the different decorations.

Unless someone posts one before hand...you'll be given a transportation guide/map thingy when you check in.

as you can see, i'm almost on my way... :Pinkbounc i plan to get a bunch of maps (parks and such) and if anyone would like one, pm me. i will also post "just back-got maps" when i get back!

Don't know if you've ever driven before, but there are signs all over the place pointing you in the right direction. We've stayed at a half-dozen different WDW resorts, and it's just about impossible to get lost.

Last time we used the Disney transportation and didn't pay attention to any signs. So what you are saying is that there are signs pointing to the all stars resorts and such?

There's signs EVERYWHERE!!! You can get lost, we have, for a time, but you can't stay lost for too long without seeing a sign, if one person reads the signs and one person drives, it's very easy to get around the place. Just remember where your going. EPCOT resorts~~~first head toward EPCOT. You'll start seeing signs for the various resorts. Same thing for MK~~~head toward MK, you'll start seeing signs for the MK resorts. The bonnet creek resorts, OKW, Port Orleans etc. are all in the Downtown Disney area, and of course AKL is right by AK.

As everyone knows, the Disney property is humongous and the chance of getting lost is always there. However, upon check-in, you should receive map. You can always pick up one of the guides from ur local bookstore (B&N, Borders, etc). I'm not sure about this: If ur staying off-property, then you may be able to just stop by any resort and pick up a map from the concierge or front desk...but this im not TOO sure of. Check on the WDW website as well. Good Luck!

Before you reach end of the main drag exiting your resort, you will start seeing big purple signs (very distinctive) with arrows pointing toward all of the main destinations--Theme parks, water parks and Downtown Disney. You probably won't go 1/4 mile before you see additional signs telling you to either continue straight or turn.

Same thing happens when you exit a park. There are signs for each of the WDW resorts. Eeyore2003 is right--if you do get lost, you won't be for long.

Brandon & Misty,

Sent you a PM, e-mail me and I'll send you a scan of a pretty good property map. It is 1.8Mb in size, anybody else is welcome to a copy also.

I disagree you can get lost easy because I have spent 2 hours trying the MK park.  :p

That reason I stay onsite don't won't end up Tampa Bay.

'Hey thanx. We appreciate that. I sent you a pm back. Looking forward to it.

If there is a chance to go the wrong way, I will do it:mad: WDW is pretty well marked. They don't always point you to the most direct route, but if you follow the signs, you'll end up where you want to be.:D :earsboy:

Yes WDW property is pretty well marked but it's still twice the size of Manhatten. There isn't always a sign telling you where to go, depending on where you are.

We've always gotten a rental car and after roughly 25 trips in 13 years we get around pretty good. Still I take a look at a map when going someplace I'm not quite sure of.

steve

Well we will have a map and look at it before, during, and after our arriving destination
