Anyone have one? WHat do you think of it?
I currently have a sportage that I don't like very well (too small, only 4 cyl engine-not enough power).
I LOVE the great warranty on Kias. I put a ton of miles on my car. Plus they offer some great rebates and come back offers.
THanks.

We have one & love it! Service has been great - DW is a realtor so she puts on the miles (25000 in 15 months). No problems yet and can't beat the price or warranty.

How is the gas mileage? And have you noticed wind noise or other noises inside?
Thanks :)
Cathy

We're averaging about 19 MPG. Not great but we knew that before we bought it.
There are no noises that we've noticed. The whole time that we've had it, the only problems have been a stiff sliding door (needed lubrication) and that the gas cap, if not screwed in just right, sometimes causes the check engine light to come on until it's reset by the service dept (twice in the 25,000 miles) - a pain but not bad and apparantly something that they've remedied on the newer models.

We have had ours for about 13 months/20,000 miles....we have 4 kids, ages 6-16 on Friday and two large labs. We had a Voyager and two Windstars before the Kia. Hated the windstars in terms of service and quality. Our Kia averages about 15-16 mpg, although we do mostly intown driving- about 20 on the open road. We drove from central Illinois to WDW with all 4 kids last summer and had plenty of room. No complaints about noise at all. One of the armrests is a little loose, and the outlet in the front console has had a part come loose and needs to be repaired- other than that it is great. FAR fewer problems than we had with the 95 or 98 Windstars (we still have the 98 as the backup van and I hate driving it). The Kia is a great value- not a luxury van, but seems to be holding up to our hard use. Would buy another one!

THanks. This is just the kind of info I wanted. Would you buy it again ? Is the most important question. Since I drive a lot of miles, I really feel a good warranty is one of the most important things to me.
Thanks again.
Cathy

Absolutely! If I hadn't have needed a truck, I would have bought one for myself - that or the Sorrento!

Val,
Can you elaborate a bit more about the van not being a 'luxury' van? WHat would it be missing compared to other higher priced vans?
tstobb, I am glad you would buy another one. I have a sportage right now and wouldn't buy another one.
Thanks.
Cathy
