Anyone gone on the Fireworks Cruise?

Do you have time to see the parade or not? Do we have to catch this on another night? I figure we do-just thought I'd check. Oh-BTW was it worth it? It will be me, DH, our four kids 12, 6, 6, and 4 and my parents for their first trip ever. I was looking at possibly New Years Eve.

We did the MK fireworks cruise in May 2000 - just my husband and I. It was absolutely fabulous!!! I have no idea what time the parades are, but I think we had to be at the Wilderness Lodge to get the boat a good 30 minutes before departure. Also, they take you around the lake showing you the sights. Our captain was very personable and very knowledgable. We watched the fireworks and then he took us around to the other resorts (GF, Poly, etc) and we got to watch the Electric Water Pageant from the boat! Very cool!!!

I tried to get the cruise again this past November, but had no luck. Our kids were 3, 5, 6, and 7 at the time and we thought they would love it. Good luck getting it - I called first thing in the morning for every night we were there, and by the time I got an operator, the boats were booked.
