Sorry that I have not touched base for a while. Using the keyboard is one thing that still bothers me. My hand/arm surgery went GREAT! The physical therapist I see for it is shocked taht I have such great movement and am starting to build strength already. I am not one to stay down. Gallbladder surgery is tomorrow morning at 6 am. They agreed with me that we could wait just a few days since I have had trouble with it for 2 years.
We found a new nano Monday morning after seeing the hand surgeon. It was in a park right across the street and I beegged hubby to let me at tleast try for it. He quickly gave in and let me play.
It actually only took about 2-3 minutes before I found it. He had even looked right in the same spot, but didn't spot it.
We went out yesterday and found 9! One was a cache that we had been trying to figure out for a couple weeks. Clever puzzle and hide was soooo tricky! We had been to the final area 5 times looking for it. We had one small hint that we need a screwdriver. I can't believe that we FINALLY found it!
We took my friends out again yesterday. Her husband liked what she had told him of the game and he wanted to try it. So looks like they area hooked! We spent over an hour on a new one. It had been posted days ago, and is an hour from our home but as of the time we left the house it had yet to be found. We went for it and I finally found it!!!
It was one that looked like a bolt, placed in wood on an observation deck at a new park. LOL, I was so excited to find it and get my first FTF!!!
We also got our 100th find yesterday! So we had a great day!
Thanks all for the prayers, I am sure that it part of what has helped me heal so quickly!
Sounds like everybody has had some fun hunts. I love that log about the PO watching and he ended up being the hider! Too funny! I enjoy looking at some of the interesting hunts you all go on.

Ends up you had to sit in the middle of a set of bleachers about 5 rows up. Under the seat in front was this flat plastic container maybe an inch long and magnetized on one side.
LOLOL! A small piece of paper rolled up and flattened inside it. That one has had some people come out with colorful words in the process of going batty.
Same with one of his bolts. One person said there are organizations out there to help people with a mind like his. LOLOLOL!!
I'm finding it tougher deciding what caches to go for and what areas to visit. Didn't want to go to Virginia Beach this weekend. Stayed close to home. I'm tired of driving!! I guess the 65 mile a day drive for work does that.
Good luck and more prayers being sent for tomorrow's surgery. Let's hope that's it when that's all done.
There's too many people around this area that go out after them in the middle of the night if they have to. Not me!
Hopefully, your gallbladder surgery will go just as well. Congratulations on the FTF and #100!
And I hope your wife's headache wasn't around too long. Wow! She must have felt terrible if she missed church.
We did the tour in EPCOT with those last year and it was great! They're amazing!
. I have been working on a cache for days now. Actually starting trying to figure it out after my first surgery back on the 17th. I am getting NOOOO where fast. Any of you willing to look at it and give me a hand? Any help at all would be very appreciated. This guy makes up some difficult ones.
I feel like I've been MIA from the DIS Boards!
ClassicRider's dad put it out there. There we were in the woods climbing over all kinds of downed trees from Hurricane Isabel in 1993. (Amazing to me that they don't clean this stuff up.

And the title of your cache is perfect. People will know where it is if they are familiar with the park. I'm sure those that don't will have it strike them when passing the park's sign and putting them together.
That just CAN'T be right! I am going back to work on 'light duty' April 18th. I was getting really bored just sitting around here, and I was looking forward to going back towork...but now that I feel better I wouldn't mind a few more weeks off to play. Ohhh well. I had a call from a fellow cacher yesterday...she works with me. The administration at our facility ( I work at a state mental hospital) found at there was a cache hidden on the grounds of the cemetary. It is public property and according to the placer he had permission to place it. Anyway...the big wigs were not pleased about it being there and removed it. I emailed the placer and let him know. I hate that it is gone, that was our very first find.
Hi!
(I've always wanted to use that one!)
