Anyone going Easter Week April 8-13 2012

Anyone staying onsite Easter Week? We will be at ASM 4/8-4/13. How crowded do you think it will be? I have been checking daily and it seems all the hotels still have availability. I am hoping that bookings for that week are low and they will offer some discounts. So far I am still paying rack rates.

We are going during Easter break. There is a thread about this that must've slipped to the 2nd or 3rd page. Like you, I check daily and there is a LOT of room availability at all the resorts I'm checking (BC, BWI, Poly, WL). Every single room type/category is available at all of those resorts. Looks like not many people are going to pay full price this year.

I have to think that with so many empty rooms they will open up a discount, but I also think it may be too late because many families have already booked a spring break trip by now....offsite or else a different destination.

Well either way, late discount or less crowded parks, I'll take either one!

Dh just told me yesterday he wants us to go that week (bec it is Spring Break).
Ack!
I looked at the rates and nearly had a heart attack. Called to check if we have any pins/codes - nada.
Not sure what to do.

Easter week is one of the busiest and most expensive weeks of the entire year, probably only second to the week of Christmas/New Year's. There are rarely, if any, discounts for Easter week. There is availability at the resorts because, since there are generally no resort discounts, a lot of people will stay off-site. The crowds will be at or near capacity that entire week.
