Anyone going during Easter

I am curious if anyone is going during Easter? We will be there the week before and the week after and wanted to know how crowds are and what the weather is typically like? I have been in early March and crowds were low, but I know that spring break is at its peak during Easter. Any feedback would be greatly appriciated!!!

Tons of people are going LITERALLY!!! We always seem to go during Easter break and the crowds are enormous! You really have to work the parks to beat the crowds and get to ride priorities. Use FP and go early

With that said, The weather, historically, is gorgeous!!

You must have PS's ahead of time or you will not get into a sit down restaurant. So be sure you have a few if interested in sit down places. Actually many of us made them 90 days out so you may have trouble even now

I really don't mean to make it seem bad - you just need to be prepared!

We will be there during Easter this year and are anticipating a large crowd. We made quite a few PS's and have the trip mapped out to the best of our abilities. We are just going to take our time and see as much as possible.

We're going! Can't wait! WE are going to do what we can, go back to our hotel to rest and swim and go again... The parks are open really late.. We have many PS's.. Now.. if the time before we get there would start moving faster!

We'll be there too and have decided to make this a "no parks" trip. We're going for 6 days and are looking forward to just relaxing. We're splitting our stay between the Dolphin and the Polynesian and just plan on enjoying the pools and relaxing. Can't wait!

I sugget you make a few PSs, even now they are available though not necessarily at preferred times. I got O'Hana last week for an 8:10 PM seating on Easter Sunday. Also just changed my Akershus to a 7 PM Thursday 4/15 seating.

So, they are to be had but I'd do it now rather than waiting until you get there.

DH and I will be there again this Easter and will visit the parks only LATE in the day (got to love those APs) and plan to spend a lot of time poolside at SAB and our resort, Beach Club Villas.

We are going back in July and again in December, so we will grab more park time then.

We also plan on visiting the other resorts and grabbing some meals there.

I plan on this being a very relaxing trip.

My son and I will be there this Friday. My sister's family, her SIL and her daughter will get there next Sunday.

I've made several PS and I'm thinking of adding a few more. I know it will be impossible for a party of 8 to get a table without PS.


I'm not to sure how to handle the parks yet. My son and I will try to do all of our must do things the 3 days that we are there alone.

Since this will be my sister's family first (maybe only) trip to disney, I want them to be able to do as much as possible.

we are going as well from the 8th to the 15th we have only 1 ps that is the Fantamic package at hollywood & vine on the 12th at 5pm . The crowds will be large just like last year maybe larger but we go early and fast pass.

Yes, it's almost time to leave I'm still fine-tuning my itinerary, anticipating crowds I can't imagine, since we usually go the beginning of May. This should be interesting. We plan on doing EMH at MK and going to MK again like 2 other times that week, so our DD will have time there, I'm not worried about the other parks as much. I just can't wait to get back down there. I need a tan...and a Dole-Whip!!! Have fun everyone and lets all wish for safe travels and beautiful weather!!!!

We're off too and worried a bit about crowds...we are going to go to MK twice in the morning to get all the rides in....I have 3 PS's, but the rest we'll be with the crowd

Our bags are packed and we leave Wed AM. We will be there until the night of April 10.

We have PSes for most of our meals (I have been planning since August!!).

I just need to update my itinary from DU with the latest park hours.

We were there the same time last uear - it was VERY busy but we had a great time. (only 56 hours to go!!!)

Me me me!!! For our 1st Easter week trip to WDW. Here's our strategy: We have PS' for dinner every night. It sounds like if you do a counter service dinner you're in for a loooong wait in line. We're going to the parks at opening, leaving around lunch, resort pool/rest then back to the parks around 4-5:00 until closing. We don't expect to see "everything" just want to hit our very favorites, there's always next time... Just go with the flow, relax and enjoy the gorgeous spring weather in Disney!

We're going down 4/3 - 4/9....expect lots of crowds, but we plan to do just our favorites and then relax around OKW. Already have PS's made; just looking forward to some fun in the sun!! See you all there!

We go every year at Easter. If you go to the waterparks, make sure you are in the park by 10:00. Always go to the second showing of Fantasmic and Spectro. It seems that they line up two-hours before for the first shows. They expect it to be more crowded the week before Easter Sunday. The MK is open until midnight, and the week after its 11:00 pm. Have fun!

We'll be there too with all the rest of ya's. We arrive on Sunday 4/4 and leave Saturday 4/10. A bit nervous about the MK crowds too.

My family and I will be there for Easter. THis is our favorite time of the year to go. The weather is great! It is very crowded try to use Fastpass whenever possible. I hope everyone has a terrific trip!
