Anyone get a really good AP rate at WL? How likely?

Now that I've got everything I could ever want (16 nts @ the World at CBR, my resort of choice at an AP rate), I want more. Would love to do a split stay and spend a few days at WL and check that out, but there's no AP room available for our dates. Rock-bottom should be $135 +tax, which I could do, but the only thing they could get me was way, way more. Same story through the AP website.

Anyone ever get a rate that good at WL? I wonder if they have many rooms in that category. Or, alternately, anyone get a great rate when only higher-price-point discounts were available before? Any advice? (Besides be grateful for what I have. )

Thanks!

I am staying at WL for my wedding in Jan, booked Jan 9-13th. I just applied code FCC to my rate (I literally just got off the phone with them) and the rate went to 160/night. From what I was paying, I was ecstatic! :cheer2:

Thanks Eeyore, this is encouraging. I'll give it another shot in a few minutes. And congrats on your pending nuptials!

Do you have to be an annual member to get a good rate. I have booked into the WL from dec 9-16th and I would love to apply a code to my rate if there is one available. Any help would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know what the FCC code is for?

We went during the end of January this past year, and I kept trying for an AP discount on a standard room at WL. I got it about a week before our trip (actually booked 2 standard rooms for $109 each per night). When we got there we were upgraded to a courtyard room, so I'm wondering if they just opened up more standard rooms to fill up the hotel at the last minute.

Keep trying!

Wow, I could absolutely live with a rate like that! As we already have a good rate at CBR, I think I will do just that, keep trying, and if what I want comes up, great; if not, I'm still ok.

FCC is the AP rate for 1/1/07-2/14/07. There is a similar package code for 1/1-2/14 and 2/15-3/8 for the general public.

There are very few rooms available at WL for Dec, let alone discounted rooms. I couldn't even find any room Dec 7-9 at WL. If you try make a new booking Dec 9-16 at WL, that is sold out as well.

what's the lowest AP rate in jan for a preferred view at CBR

Hi. I'm new to all the codes and such. I usually just call tell them all the things that apply (AP, FL resident, AAA member) and ask what the best rate they have that I can use. I don't know if I actually ever get it or not. Anywhoooo, today I receive an e-mail saying the Values are $59/night, standard room early Jan. The code is FCE. Is that any different than this FCC code? Just curious.

I signed up for Mousesavers at the end of Sept but didn't get the Oct edition. I did get the hot sheet (or whatever its called) but some glitch with the newsletter.

Anyway, I'd appreciate the help. We go a lot -- every other month, so I'd like to save as much as I can.
:thanks: Eva

Maria I got $114/nt for a preferred location ; don't know if that's the same surcharge as preferred view . For the same period, my standard room with the discount is $99, if that helps.

FCE and FCC are apparently the same discount, just one is for phone bookings one for online, though both work either way...

AP rates when you can get them seem to be better than AAA, though if the right category isn't available and you upgrade, then who's to say what's better value. The other codes that are out now are package codes I think, which probably wouldn't be the best for you with your AP already purchased. Good luck working it out--I find it verrry challenging!!
