I am getting so excited too. I can't wait. Some of my friends think i am crazy to be taking a baby to disney world. Do you get that reaction from people too?

I get that reaction from people who don't know me well or haven't gone yet. Our families know that we weill go no matter what and kind of leave u s alone about it.

Seven months is no big deal. I have a friend who brought her son at 10 weeks old. I'm sure that was a bigger challenge. I think with lighter crowds, a seven-month-old is a breeze.

We are going at thanksgiving, but plan to go during Mardi Gras one year.

I was there at Mardi Gras 2007. It was super crowded but I think that was due to its being President's Week more than Mardi Gras. They don't conicide this year so it should be a lot better. Make sure you bring beads. Everyone loves getting them although a few people said I shouldn't be giving my beads away. I don't think they realize that most of us have 5 or 6 grocery bags full of beads in our attics!

Never mind..I did a search and found out. That's pretty cool. I will have to look. Wal-Mart sells Disney colors, do they not carry it? I will look there too. I think I am obsessed with going now. My children aren't as excited as me because our last trip was in the summer and it was soooo crowded. I think once they experience Disney under different circumstances, they will be just as obsessed. DD is especially excited about our breakfast with Cinderella. It will just be she and I. A special mom and daughter day.

Anyway, Where did you go to school...and when did you graduate..do we know each other? So many move away..except for me. DH is actually from south Florida. He grew up about 25 minutes from the world. I often ask him if he was dropped on his head or something. Why on earth would he want to move here.. Maybe one day we will make it there. He has family all over Florida. It was the great oilfield that convinced him to leave it all. And we do know how to have a good time. It would be hard for me to move out of our great state. Have a great day.

I graduated in 1990 from Assembly Christian School. My husband graduated from NISH in 1988. We live in coteau but I grew up near the city park. My husband is the store director of Super 1 Foods in New Iberia. coteau_chick

Are you taking your daughter to bipity bopety botieque? I can't wait till my little one is old enough to go there. My oldest daughter is 15 I can't take her there.

We have gone camping in Hammond (jellystone) a couple of times. I had fun. My kids love to camp there.

My stepdaughter and her family live just a few miles north of Jellystone, so we pass by there all the time.

We used to go swimming there when I was young. My mom would take us a couple of times a week out there. It was so much fun. When I was very little, I would get it confused with WDW I guess it reminded me of Ft. Wilderness or something!!

What part of La do you live in? I live in New Iberia. Were the crowds big because of the free dinning? I might look into that for 2010. We are going to plan a trip every other year . We first went in 2006 and we are going in 2008.Thanks for the tip. I am going to read your trip report.

Is it worth the extra money to stay at akl? Did you stay in a savana view? I Live in New Iberia too. This is neat. I could be bumping into disers in super 1. I am going to make me some lime green mickey head earrings so you will know me when you see me in town(ha ha)!!
