Anyone from Jersey on the 11/2 Magic Cruise?

We booked directly with DCL and paid cash, but still no documents! Yesterday, DCL told me it was too early for documents, but I see now that some people already have them!

Yeah!! The docs finally here. Sat on a TA's desk for a week but were mailed out last week like everyone elses. One less thing to think about...

I didn't book air through DCL maybe that is why we are getting ours earlier than others.

5 more weeks!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
We got our docs! TA had them last Tuesday, but DH was out of town, so he didn't get the message until today. DH picked them up today, so we have them in our hands now! Yippeee!! :Pinkbounc

I so happy to hear you got them! It's frustrating knowing they should be there and wondering. Feels so real now. I can't wait to start reading.

Yeah Eisai Babe and Sweet Spot. Everyone's getting them. Now I just have to get the rest of mine. As it stands now, DH and DS have no tickets! Hopefully tomorrow:D

My3kids....I'm still with you...no doc's yet. We booked thru AAA and have no air...so I don't know what it taking so long. I think I might call AAA tomorrow just to check on them.

AnnaB: Strange this is we have gotten part of them, but not all of them. The travel agent said they were mailed the same day, but in different packages. Three tickets came Thursday, but we are still missing two. They said if the other package isn't here by Monday to call and they would call Disney.

We did receive the excursion booklet in a 3rd envelope which came Friday....only about 30 days too late to reserve anything had we not known from this board to reserve at the 60 day mark!

I called Disney to find out about receiving the doc's and they said that ours were not sent yet. They said that we will receive them 2 weeks prior. I would really like to know when they are coming so someone could be home to get them. Otherwise, I guess I will have to pick them up at Fed Ex (where ever that is).

my3kids:

Are you all in the same room or do you have adjoining rooms? Doesn't seem to make sense to not have all the tickets in the package they send out. I hope the Fedex guy shows up at your door today with the rest of your tickets!

AnnaB and JoanneTK:

I found out when the tickets were mailed out from DCL and then called the TA. You might have gotten a CM at DCL who didn't even look and gave you the standard answer of 2 weeks before the cruise. It never hurts to call DCL back. I've learned the degree of service depends on you luck of the draw and who picks up the phone.

SweetSpot: Yes, 2 adjoining rooms. We had to book an adult into each room so that is why I have mine and my husband does not. I'm sure they will be here today....I'm sure they will be here today.....I'm sure they will be here today. If I keep saying that, surely it will be true!;)

My biggest concern is that we are leaving a full week before we set sail to spend some time at WDW. I did call the TA and as luck would have it she is not in until Monday:(

We got the rest of the tickets today. We're all going to Disney now!

YEAH!!!! I'm sure you're relieved. No fun going on a DCL cruise without your DH or DS.

Now we need to keep our fingers crossed that AnnaB and JoanneTK's are right behind yours.

Has anyone booked the bananna boat ride? My dh and dd were going to go parasailing but dh chickened out:rolleyes: and talked my daughter out of it! So I am going to try to book the banana boat tonight, and probably rent some rafts also. Its getting close!

All 5 of us are doing the Banana Boat ride after lunch. Sounds like fun.

Is there an age limit on the bb. My one dd is 7, i thought i read 8 & up? Or maybe I read that somewhere else?

ILUVTOGO: The info. on excursions advises that your child should be "over 8 and able to swim". It does really sound like fun. I asked my DD (now over 8 and a swimmer) if she'd want to do this...while it looks like fun she was apprehensive about getting dumped in the ocean.
We'll all be floating around (bringing 2 small rafts from home) and snorkeling that day.
Toni

Thanks Toni,
I have been reading so much stuff, It all gets mixed up together. My dd 10 and my dh will probably do this, and me and dd7 will float around. What is everyone doing on the Islands? We booked the Golden Eagle and the Trunk Bay excursion. Maryann

We are winging it everywhere it seems. My kids are DS12, DS10 and DD7. They are fairly spread out in age and most things really weren't appropiate for my DD7. Since she is the daredevil of the family there's no way I will do anything that will exclude her and it seems everything we would want to do she is too young to do.

We plan on shopping and going to the beach in St. Mart (maybe a taxi to Coral World/Coki Beach) and St. Thom and spending the day on rafts and snorkling on Castaway Cay. I'm sure we will find many things to keep us busy on days we are in port.

Guess I'll have to talk my DH into cruising again next year so we can take advantage of the excursions.

AnnaB & JoanneTK....any documents yet for either of you?
