Anyone from Ireland willing to do a favor?

I would like to get pennies from Ireland for the birth years of my two children (1995 & 1997) as a little keepsake of their heritage. I have bid on Ebay a few times, but haven't had much luck finding both years or being high bidder (it is usually a larger coin lot).

I am more than willing to cover postage and a little extra via PayPal if someone can help me out. Or, if there is something little you might like from Texas (or some US coin) I would be happy to do a trade too.

The problem you will have is that we changed our coins from Irish pounds and pennies to Euros so coins from the dates you want are no longer in circulation. I don't think I have any old coins anymore but if I come across any I'll PM you

We occasionally find the odd Irish penny making its way into our change here in Northern Ireland so I'll keep an eye out as well.

Yes, that is why we are anxious to get them before the old coins are gone for good. I really appreciate all of you keeping an eye out.

I've got a 1995 penny you can have. (I had about 50 coins in a sugar bowl in china cabinet and just went through them. Most of them seem to be 2000).

I think I have another small tub of coins in a drawer in work, will have a look next week. I know they used to be there, but can't remember if I threw them out.

I come across coins all the time around the house, so imagine I will find a 1997 at some stage. My own 2 nieces are 1995 & 1997 also so I know I keep things from these years sometimes. (Don't suppose 19 Sep is the 1997 date? I have newspaper from that date, full of Princess Diana stuff of course).

PM me with your address and I'd be happy to send on coin (hopefully 2 if I find 1997).
