Anyone for Dec 2008???

No worry, I have been planning our trip since December 2006, as soon as we returned from our first Christmas trip.

That will more than likely be me after this trip. I think our next trip will be in 2010 At least planning and hanging out on the DIS makes the time appear to go by quicker.

I can't believe I haven't seen this thread yet. Now I can show my husband I am not the only one planning this early. We are staying at the POLY for the first time I can't wait. We will also be doing the MVMCP for the first time also

Looks like we'll be at the Poly at the same time. I am hoping to get a room on the 3rd floor of the Tahiti longhouse. I am planning on making a DIS green Mickey head Christmas wreath for our door. If you see it sign it and say hello.

I sure will. I am hopeing to make some sort of decoration for our room too. But for now I am working on a count down with Mickey heads from HD. I am not to crafty but we'll see.

I am new to this forum.We have been to DW several times and went in Dec. 04.(first time during the Holidays and loved it.) We just booked our vacation the week of Dec.7th-13th( figured this would be less busy time ) staying at Movies resort as we don't stay in room much anyway so we opted for value resort. We did an air-hotel-MYW/hopper pass-car pkg through AAA.But are also thinking of doing Universal a couple of days.I wish I had stubbled ont this site before we made plans as there are some very good suggestions and information on here. Any must see and do's are appreciated.
Such a long time away but I am so excited I love DW and I love Christmas what better can you ask for then both at the same time.

We leave Wed for a 6-day family trip at CBR, but I must admit I am eagerly anticipating our December stay at the Poly! We intend to do all of the holiday happenings!

I lost the thread. I am going to make sure I have a subscription now.

We haven't bought too much so far but I did just get approved for a Disney Visa so I have a feeling I will be buying a lot more soon. I think I might set aside a space in my closet to put the stuff I get.

We will be in Disney from December 2nd through the 7th and staying at BW villas ... we love going at this time of year, the decorations and all the festivities are awesome! We cannot wait to go for the holidays, Thank goodness we are going next month so we can get our Disney fix until the next trip

I know that this is sooooo early to think about but is there anyone out there planning to visit WDW in early Dec. 2008????? I have the disney fever and I can't wait to plan.

We wanted to go Dec '07 but that didn't work out so we are planning for Dec '08...I can't wait! I haven't been since Oct '06 and that has been WAY too long! I am so excited to see all the Christmas lights and decorations!

How did you manage to wait that long? We went in Dec 2006 and weren't supposed to go back until Dec 2008, but we ended up going back in Jun 07, Aug 07, and Dec 07, and will be there again in June 08, before Dec 08. I am not a very patient person. I MUST have my WDW

we will be at WDW Dec 7-14...5 nights at OKW then 2 nights at AKL for our anniversary

Our Land & Sea package starts with 4 nights at the Poly (Nov. 30 - Dec. 4).
Then we head to Port Canaveral for 3 nights on the Wonder.

For the past 2 years our trips were in September for Free Dining - and the weather was HOT!!!!!!
I'm just wondering how much different the temps will be in December?

I'm with you!! Ugh.
I have a couple of schedules drafted...based on what the EMH's have been in the past, and one based on the "unofficial guide" who basically says to avoid the EMH days for lighter crowds.

We are going December 1st though, and because the schedule will come out June 1st (I hope), we'll only have until June 4th (if I figured the 180 days correct) to get our schedule figured to make ADR's...

Question for those of you that have been in early December before...should I worry about crowds that much to avoid the EMH days or should I take advantage of them? (that wasn't worded very well, but you know what I mean )
