These are the ADR's I'm thinking of so far:

12/4 Dinner at a country in WS
12/5 Dinner at a country in WS
12/6 Breakfast at Akershus, Dinner at the Plaza ?
12/7 Breakfast at CRT, Dinner at Ohana ?
12/8 Dinner at 1900 or the Plaza
12/9 Breakfast at Kona

We will be planning a couple dinners with the entire family, so there may be some voting involved in choosing those ADR's!

We took our kids to Rose and Crown, no problem. They were a bit iffy on some of the food choices, but I think ended up with (shock!) macaroni and cheese. They did sample our appetizers and desserts with us, though, and liked them. We were seated outside and they enjoyed that part, too.

Thanks so much...I was told to request outdoor seats so we can just stay at our table and watch Illuminations. Good to know they have the old mac n cheese standby!

I booked airline tickets tonight and I feel soo much better now. I was checking the fares every day and they just kept going up and up so I bit the bullet and booked! Knowing my luck and the fares will start going down but so what! We are locked in!!!! I also managed to get us some decent flight times so we'll have a half day on arrival and a full day on departure to do whatever we want!

I can't believe how quickly time is passing. Now I can really start working on ADR ideas and planning!!!

Congrats on booking airfare. It is a relief once it's done. I have only one leg booked...the trip home, for $88 pp. I found a good price and went with it. Now I'm stressing about what I will pay to get us there!! I keep thinking something will come up, but if not, at least I got a good deal one way. That, and hope for decent weather to travel through. You never know w/a midwestern winter.

Congrats BreezysMom on booking airfare. When I booked mine, it made our trip seems more real. Luckily we were able to get good flights as well. We arrive at MCO at 10:00 am on our first day, and we don't leave MCO until 8:20pm on our last day.

Also, it looks like we'll be at the Poly at the same time. I am hoping for a 3rd floor room in Tahiti. I just can't wait to sit on that balcony at night and enjoy that Mk view!!

We are booked for the Poly Dec. 7-12. Not too thrilled about the Pop Warner issue, but what can you do? It is still Christmas with the Mouse and the kids' first trip to Disney!!!:cool1:

Congrats on your first trip!! Don't forget to pick up your "First time buttons".
At first I was worried about being there during Pop Warner as well. From what I've been able to tell, there really shouldn't be any issues. Especially, since I am staying at the Poly(as I see you are). Honestly at this point, I am more worried about getting the ADR's that I want.

I did the same thing this week...decided it was more important to get the times I wanted, non-stop flights and window seats for the kids. Probably didn't get the BEST deal but flying out of Detroit is definitely cheaper than Toronto! We'll be at Poly too ~ Dec 10 - 15 (we do 3 nights at AKL first)

I'm flying out of detroit too, do you mind me asking what you paid per person, cause so far the cheapest is 84, i'm thinking of booking soon for that fare!!:cheer2:

:cool1:
I just booked our airline tickets!! $79 one way pp...not too shabby huh!!
My co workers think I'm crazy to be planning so far in advance, and I'm like "Hello...it's Disney!! There's no such thing as planning too early!!". Now it really feels...well real!

 I'm so excited, and I knew I could come here and be with people that understand my excitement!

ok...now back to work...:surfweb:

The only people that I know that can understand my excitement are my two DS's. My DH doesn't ge excited about the trip until we are driving to the airport the morning we leave, and then only a little bit. I haven't even told my mom about our trip b/c I don't feel like a lecture.

Sure...we are flying Airtran and I believe it was $109 there and $84 back. (Maybe more expensive on a weekend? ~ we fly down on a Sunday, back on Monday) Our total for four of us with taxes, and the $6 cost to prebook seats (I had to have 2 window seats so this was vital!!), was $904. I've talked to several people who flew Airtrans and haven't heard anything negative. :goodvibes

I saw that a bunch of youse had booked your flights - so I checked last night ... and we're booked, too!!! :yay: :woohoo:

$94 each way from Atlantic City on Spirit ... (I didn't know you have to pay "extra" for luggage - $20 each bag round trip...) :headache: but at that, it was still a better price than the other airlines ... and to avoid the travel time and hassle of going to Newark or Philadelphia, it's worth it ... :upsidedow [so I'm thinking of packing a duffle bag (or 2?) in the luggage on the way down - fill it with dirty clothes for the trip back (and pay the $10 for an extra bag) - and fill the space in the luggage with Christmas presents ... ]

Aaaannddd - I got the "perfect" flight times I wanted!! :woohoo::banana:

Well - not exactly: I wanted to leave WDW around 5 pm - now we'll have to stay around until 8 ... what a bummer ... NOT!! :rotfl:

So that means we'll spend our last morning at the MK - and then hang out at AKL until we head to the airport ... :cloud9:

The DW even had a sparkle in her eyes when I told her we were booked ...
 :cheer2: party: :jumping1: :bounce:
Eight months and 1 day to go!!!

How cool a few of us will be at the Poly at the same time! (I will be sure to keep my eye out for quad 3 year olds???);)

We get to Orlando about 2:30 on arrival and leave at around 8pm on the last day. I'm really pleased with that!

This will be our 2nd trip to Disney and to the Poly! My TA, who has been doing Disney exclusive for 30 years says that Pop Warner won't affect us at all at the resort. Maybe some extra kiddos at the parks at times in the evening.

I can't wait to experience Disney at Christmas time. I have a 7 year old daughter who loves Christmas and Disney, so this should be extra magical.

I look forward to planning for the next 8 months and be able to talk about it with you all...DH is not so in to my planning :rolleyes1 He gets excited about 5 minutes before we land in Orlando.

I can't believe I just made my way over here for the first time. It is so nice sharing my December excitement with people!

We have had our SOG reservations since this past December. I am now currently working on our ADR list, packing list, and things to buy for trip list!:thumbsup2

Counting down the days till ADRs, too:thumbsup2
