Anyone for Dec 2008???

I just booked out trip last friday. We are going Nov. 29th - Dec. 6th staying at POR. I am so excited. I have always wanted to see WDW during the holidays. It will be me (31) DH (35) DS (9) DS(7) and DD (4)

The best part is the kids don't know. We won't tell them until we are at the airport. If I told them know they would ask me everyday, "how many more days until we go to WDW?". One of them already asks me each week, when we can go back.

we're booked again Dec 15-27....as soon as we got home from our last trip, dh said I should get to booking this years Dec. trip that's very unusual for him he's not a big disney nut at all!!! I'm still doin the happy dance!

We will be there 8-16th i think. my fiancee just booked it this morning. wilderness lodge villas!! it will be for our honeymoon. i'll be 26 and she's 27. we were both raised in disney families and have been disneyland regulars our entire lives. unfortunately we couldn't afford to get married at disneyland, but we're going to do the next best thing and honeymoon at disneyworld!! i can't wait!!

as someone who also grew up going to DL you won't be disappointed spending you honeymoon at WDW and the Villas at WL are a great choice!
We stayed there last Dec for the first time and loved it.

Hello all! New to the boards, and thought this was a great place to place my first post... The hubby and I are taking our kids, 9 and 5 at the time of travel, for 10 days... We will be there from the 8th to the 18th... I am so excited, this is the first vacation we have taken and not had others with us...

Dec 4th '08 off property. Checking into CR MKV (first time either my DH or I have stayed there since the 70's) on Dec 5th for 9 nights. I am so excited.

I am also getting the "fever." My husband isn't quite as crazy about Disney as I am, but has said he would like to go in December to see all the Christmas lights. My daughter, granddaughters and I went two years ago right before Christmas and we had a blast. I love Disney anytime of the year, but at Christmas it seems even more magical!

After 20 years of working at the same retail store (never asking for time off during the 4th quarter) I decided to ask for time off in Dec to go to WDW at Christmas time (something DH and I have wanted to do for a long time). Well I actually got the OK!
