Anyone fly with JetBlue?

Excellent- on time-get to select seats - good Price. Love the tvs- spacious seat area.

Love them - in addition to what formill said, there is no charge for 1st checked bag.

Flew on Jet Blue last year for the 1st time and loved them.

I have a friend from Orlando who is is a JetBlue stewardess. She loves working for them! I wish that I could fly JetBlue because I hear so many good things!

I will only go places JetBlue flies. I'm even changing my December Las Vegas plans to include DisneyLand because they fly between Long Beach and Las Vegas.

Why is Jetblue so expensive to fly from California to Orlando?? :confused3 The cheapest I've seen is well over $200 EACH WAY! (That is from SFO to MCO.)
I'd love to fly Jetblue instead of SW or Airtran but can't justify paying double the price. :sad2:
They are competitive on flights from Northern CA to Southern CA - my dh just flew w/ them last weekend to Long Beach - but certainly not for going to Orlando.

We've flown JB several times out of Boston -- to Orlando and to Chicago -- and had great experiences each time. We believe it is totally worth paying the extra fee for the "more legroom" seats -- really makes such a difference (but we're all pretty tall...).

I don't know if this applies in your case or not but JetBlue's cheapest seats usually are when the flights are first released and the price continues to increase as more seats on the flight are sold. They may occasionally have a sale but their prices usually do not fluctuate as much as other airlines do.

Also with Jet Blue your price includes one checked bag and an assigned seat (extra legroom rows are extra but basic seats are not). Many airlines are charging $23-25 per bag for the first bag checked each way. One bag alone can make about a $50 difference.

JetBlue is our #1 airline....

They also offer: if the base price in your ticket comes down you can call and ask for a voucher credit that is valid for 1yr.:thumbsup2

Ok, that is good to know. Do they say anywhere on their website when they release more dates? We are flying on Nov 18 - 27th and those dates aren't out yet.

I think part of the high price issue is the flights to MCO from Northern CA all go to New York or Boston, and then down to Orlando. Kinda seems like alot of extra miles to me - and therefore higher price. :sad2:

Note that this actually requires the CSR to cancel and rebook your existing reservation - yes, at no charge :).
It's important to note because once in a great while, they neglect to rebook your specific seats. Double-check.

And SPEAKING of seats... I was checking prices last night and got as far as the 'choose your seats' page. There's a warning on each page that "your seat has been selected but is not guaranteed". It's in standard-size, not miniscule or fine print, in the middle of the page on the left side - so "but I didn't SEE that!" probably isn't going to be a valid argument if the passenger needs to be reassigned.

I only fly Jet Blue if I can help it - I'm even willing to pay a bit more. They still have decent customer service, I love the TVs and they give you yummy snacks (I love the Immaculate Baking Co cookies!)

I saw that warning about seats not being guaranted as well.

So before I booked, I had to phone them. I'm not concerned about my husband & I sitting in different areas, but I was concerned that they might try to sit a child away from us. We planned on 1 parent sitting beside 1 child kind of deal. The person I spoke to assured me the airline would never seperate a child from the parent however.

Again, never flown before so I do not know all these details!
