Anyone flown America West?

Wow, there are more airlines that I've never heard of before! I just discovered "America West" and wondered if anyone had any opinions?

I'm researching flights from Detroit or Buffalo to Los Angeles, either LAX or SNA (John Wayne Airport), for this summer.

We flew America West, from Ohio, to Las Vegas. Our flight time was changed by several hours, but that can happen with any airlines. The flights were fine from what I remember. Nothing remarkably bad, or good.
