Anyone ever want to decorate their house in Disney??

Hey there! I'm east of Cleveland in Lake County too! (Mentor)

I know ALL about the Ohio State decor...my dad's office is Ohio State and my mom finally gave in and let him do the family room Ohio State too. I'd rather have a Disney decor, but can't say I don't like the Ohio State theme, I'm a big Buckeyes fan! Would love to get my dad a toilet seat that plays the fight song when you lift the lid! LOL!

On a side note, I saw a TV show about that tatoo guy and his house IS in Bethleham PA and it is pretty amazing...they showed every room on the show and every inch is Disney... they even said his wife even divorced him over it!

We have a bottle opener that plays the osu fight song... hubby makes it play daily just to hear it!

He wanted to do our bathroom in osu, i havent given in yet... i did give him a huge wall in the liv room... after i bought him some really cool framed pics/mirror etc.. (what was i htinking?)

The only reason he really wanted to do an osu bathroom was because he found these sticker things that go in your toilet and stick to the bottom of it... they dont get washed away, and dont fade etc... anyways, he found them with the "M" symbol and just laughed his rear end off about it... that is when the osu bathroom idea started!
i must admit that is pretty funny, but we have enough scarlet and grey! haha!
time for some dis magic!

My kitchen and bath are “Christopher Robin’s Swing”
My future children’s room (no kid yet) are “Tigger’s Tummy” and “Skipping Stones”
I have something in every room including cells or drawings. I have Pooh stuff in my kitchen and bath. Thank god my husband loves Disney too

Bottle opener....great idea, too! My bro has the cd with the OSU fight song on it. When we are over there watching the games on TV, each TD he runs to the cd player and BLASTS the song.

yep, that would seem normal around here too! My hub has the fight song downloaded as his ringer on his cell too!
Gets to be a bit much at times, but I cant complain, he probly thinks the same thing about me and my disney addiction!
He would say to me.... well at least I dont spend hours every day online on chat boards about it...
but believe me, if he could find them and had the time, he would! lol!

Our kitchen is Mickey red black, our downstairs bath is snow white and the 7 dwarfs and my daughters bedroom is princess, of course!!

My home office is very nicely done with WDW items on the shelves and pictures of my favorite places at WDW on the wall (framed in wooden Mickey frames).

My master bathroom is done with an Animal Kingdom theme. I found some wonderful Mickey icon bathmats and candles. Just a little touch here and there makes it Disney, but yet a subtle approach.

If you go to www.allstarvacationhomes.com and look at the CONDOS on the home page you'll see a picture of a condo with red painted walls and disney pics. Click on this and check out all the pictures! I think it is SOOOO cute how the owner decorated the condo with disney. Its so tasteful and looks GREAT! This may give anyone ideas. I just love it.

My DH is currently working on my DD's room and we are putting some things with Tinkerbell in her room because she loves Tinkerbell. We just found that Home Depot has Disney Doors. So DH is really considering put a Tinkerbell door on her bedroom.

He also just got a Magical Gathering's Banner off of Ebay that has Tinkerbell on it. Since her bed is going to be set back in the area that was her closet, we are going to hang that near the ceiling so that it runs the length of her bed. One of the colors that is going to be in her room is "Happily Ever After". It will go with the new carpet and mirrored doors for her closet. The Magical Gatherings banner we got is close to the "Happily Ever After" color.

Eventually he would like to be able to put up all his monorail stuff that we have been collecting since we started going down to WDW. That should take up a whole room.

The kids bathroom is Finding Nemo. We still have to do the kids bedrooms. Logan will probably have Mickey and Gillian wants Princess.

We have two rooms painted in the Disney Colors. DD's room is a pooh theme and the computer room is Classic Disney. We have 75th Anniversary Mickey, photos, Trading pins etc all spread around the room. We recently added a shelf to hold all of our other WDW stuff and my Disney Lighted Porcelain village.....


My in laws just saw the room for the 1st time and said that we are freaks...

My 2yo's room is about to be done in a "Best of Mickey" theme. We bought the black headboard "Mickey in the Morning" from Disney Store online, and we have the "Best of Mickey" bed set. I've got a framed share of Disney stock for the wall and we'll have a muralist come in to paint Mickey on the wall.

We had our twins' room done in Spiderman (not disney I know!) recently. It turned out awesome. They've got Spiderman "comic strip style" comforters. The muralist painted a huge spiderman comic strip across the wall with speech bubbles and everything. We topped it off with bright red dressers and denim blue accents. It turned out great.

We already have a pooh bathroom; shower curtain, clock, trash can, and wall border. Working now on the bedroom. Have put up fab five wall border, Mickey lightswitch cover, Mickey 19" TV, Mickey VCR/DVD player, Mickey boom box, Mickey telephone, and the best for last. Off of Ebay I was able to acquire a comforter from the All Star Movie resort, and a set of curtains for Port Orleans resort. Yes it quite a mixture of things in on room, but with it all being Disney, I think it looks great. Wife wants to do the kitchen next.

OK, I love the window treatments pointed out in this thread, but now I am going nuts. I started searching for disney decor, and found that the UK has alot of different things than disneydirect. Well i find this PERFECT eeyore duvet, and it is gone. Gone. Now I am so bummed! I also missed the Mickey in the morning headboard off disney direct. Any other good links?
