I purchased my first post divorce house this past fall. There is Disney in every room of it in some way. The living room /dining room I did with a very florida beachy feel complete with a lighted palm tree but there are hidden mickey's in there and a curio with my 'pretties" all Disney stuff.I wanted what appeared to be a normal room so not to overwhelm those that don't get it. Main bath is Mickey with a wall border over a black and white check wallpaper. I thought it would be too much but it really looks cool. My room is lavander with wall shelves on opposite walls that have all of my Disney beanies encased in individual plastic cases. DD5's room is pink and OK it is My Little Pony to the max but the sheets are princess there are snowglobes on the bookcase and the canopy over her bed is princess not to mention all the Disney plush around the room. spare bedroom/office work in progress but it will not escape the Disney touch. Kitchen is Mickey but isn't completed yet. Complete with an original 50's black and white chrome table like you'd eat on at the 50's prime time cafe at MGM. Once it get to be warm enough here we'll finish it. about 10 years ago I'd found a Mickey wall border I really liked so I bought it for my house at the time and never used it found it packed away never opened when I moved this fall and there is enough to do my new kitchen. My family room is the Disney room where we have a collection of movie posters on the walls, select lithographs from video releases, tins, and several items from my time as a CM, pictures from park trips, license plates, pins it too is still in progress as there is still a wee bit of wall space. It is a very comfortable space that I just love because absolutly nothing has a bad memory associated with it. It just makes you feel happy. NOw out in the yard obviously it's not been warm enough to work yet but over the winter I made paver stones of my own with a mickey theme and maybe I'll figure out how to do a topiary. I wouldn't have my house any other way and those that know me would expect no less
