I was wondering if anyone ever thought of decorating their house in either disney memorabila or disney themes?? I work at Home Depot in the paint dept. and we have Disney colors (in Behr paint only), and I just love reading the names. Everyone once in awhile (actually, alot more then every once in awhile) I think about decorating my house in either a disney theme or with just disney stuff. Anyone else doing this or thought of this?

I plan to have a Mickey Kitchen, not too much, but a touch of red, black appliances, and a Mickey border above my cabinets - if I can ever find one I like!!! Good luck!!

:wizard: I don't know if this counts, but I have my room paited Tiggerific Orange (one of the Disney colors) and I have a lot of tinkerbell (and a few other Disney characters) collectables around my room. :earsboy:

I want every room a different theme!! (Mickey, Princess, Nemo, etc.)

Home Depot also has alot of Buzz Lightyear colors, just to let you know.

YES!!! My husband and I have succombed to our own insane Stitch fetish and are doing our room in Stitch memorabillia. We have the original ads for the movie framed on our walls, a lot of Stitch stuffed animals on the bookcases, shelves, and the bed, and the rooms basically blue and yellow. We figured one room with Disney stuff would be enough and since Stitch is our favorite character we decided to do that. Though I LOVE the Mickey kitchen idea, but we already did ours in Ohio Sports things. :) :cool1:

I'm working on re-doing a spare bedroom into a home office and plan to do a Disney theme. Probably mostly Mickey and I have some cool Disney World posters I want to use. Also thinking of doing my bedroom in a subtle Disney theme -- there was a really nice Mickey & Minnie garden/flower patchwork quilt in the DS catalog last year, I've been looking for it on ebay.

I have Disney in every room...living room is decorated in the animal kingdom theme....well I have a cell of the tree of life and have everythiing around that

lol How do you post pics on here? Growing up my entire bedroom was decorated as 101 Dalmations to the extent of that Disneytatoosguys taste! lol Im looking for pictures to post on here but have no idea how to!

We're going to do our bathroom in disney. We plan on using the colors from OKW & have a tropical theme. Hopefully we'll get it done soon :wizard:

Princess Abby's room is COMPLETELY princess!!!
- Behr paints (Walls 2/3 "fairest of them all", 1/3 "clock strikes 12", ceiling "bibbidi bobbidi blue"
- shelves, trim and such in "happily ever after"
- princess posters, snow white movie posters, princess sheets &curtains, pillows
- Custom made castle bookcase (hand made and color matched to room)
- waterglobes galor and much more....

Oh, yeah - shes a disney kid (ummmm. and not alone since I just bought a model monorail ;) )

Ummm I'm almost embarrased, now that I think about it!

When we were first married we were going to do each room in a theme (this was before the Behr Disney Paint). We have now realized that is a bit excessive (or not LOL). Here's what we have right now.

Ds's (3) room is Buzz Lightyear (did the same colors on the Buzz pamphlet at Home Depot). I painted Buzz lightyear and his rocketship on one wall, and 3 LGM's under the window.

Ds's Bathroom is Pooh.

DD's (5) room is painted Tinkerbelle green. Her room is ladybugs, but she wants me to paint Tinkerbelle on a wall too. I have finally found a good Tink photo to use.

The playroom has most of our Disney lithographs. We also have a large Cinderella lithograph on the wall in our entry hall. Dh's office has several of the Disney posters.

So with exception of the playroom (which is really a dining room) and the one Cinderella, most of our Disney is not visible unless you go upstairs to the kids end of the house.

When I was in college, my friend & I had this very discussion & decided how we would decorate our houses w/ Disney themes throughout if/when we got married & had children.

Living Room - Aladdin
Dining Room - Beauty & the Beast - "Be Our Guest"
Family Room - Jungle Book
Kitchen - Alice in Wonderland (Get it?)
Master Bedroom - Lady & the Tramp
Master Bath - 101 Dalmations (to stay w/ the canine theme)
A Daughter's Bedroom - Sleeping Beauty
A Son's Bedroom - Never could decide between Winnie the Pooh & Peter Pan
Children's Bath - The Little Mermaid

Now, that I'm grown & married w/ 2 children, our house is nothing like this!

WOW!!! I would love to see this in person. :cool1:

I can't imagine the money and time put into this. I am amazed!!!!!
Actually, if I remember right, the guy lives in Bethlehem, PA. Plus I'm surprised that when you lift up the toilet seat, it doesn't play "It's a small world". :rotfl:
