Anyone ever stayed at ASMo when it was at capacity?

We will be staying at ASMo for Thanksgiving week and were wondering what this resort will be like when it is full to the hilt.

Is it shoulder to shoulder on the pathways after the parks close?

Does the pool water level rise more than a foot due to the masses using it?

We were planning on ordering a pizza one night when we get back from the parks, would it be quicker making the pizza from scratch in our room?

Does the cafeteria get so backed up that they start handing out fast passes to come back at a later time?

Thanks, JABEAR

Didn't see any of these things in March of 2000 when we last stayed at AllStar Music. The main building was bustling around 4 - 5 pm but the food court was not overly crowded then or at breakfast when we usually used it. The 'Guitar' pool seemed to be lightly used unless there were crowds there during the times we were in the parks. Most important to us, we've almost always gotten a bus to the parks within 10 mins. BTW, all the AllStars were booked soild by Feb. of that year, so I guess that qualifies as 'capacity'.

We have stayed at Movies during at least three Easter weeks and last year the week between Christmas and New Years so the resort was full.

The pathways were never over crowded.

We ordered pizza and it came prompty.

The food courts could be busy but there were always cashiers working and tables and seats to be had.

The pools also could be busy and there may be some difficulty getting chairs; however we have frankly seen that at all resorts regardless of the capacity.

When we were at the Movies in Nov/Dec, 2000, we checked in around 9:30 AM, and my little girl had always wanted to stay with Jessie and Buzzy and Woody. We were assigned to Love Bug, and when I asked if there was any way we could move, the CM said they were full. She did say I could check back later in the week, but we really did like our location. It was very quiet, and a very short walk to the food court/bus stop. I personally think the All-Stars have some of the best bus transportation, we never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus. The pools weren't ever very full because it was cold when we were there. The food court does get crowded for breakfast, but we easily found a table and food was quick.

Last year, we went back same week (the week AFTER Thanksgiving), and we got 101 Dalmations! My little girl was estatic! The area was very quiet and still a short walk to main bldg. Bus service was great! (I don't know if it was full or not)

We really enjoyed our stays at the All Star Movies and would highly recommend it!!

This all sounds like everything will be O.K.

We stayed at ASMovies last year the first week of September. We became very spoiled! That was the first time we had ever been to WDW when it wasn't during the very busy summertime.

It was nice to do whatever, whenever. I'm sure that we will still have a blast this year. We will just make it a point to do most of the stuff we want to do before the wednesday before T-Day.

The All-Stars will ALWAYS be busy... regardless of capacity or not... :)

One thing to keep in mind though when the resort is extra busy... Just understand that the busses will be busy... but... they will also come more frequently. VERY frequently. :)

We are staying at the ASMo 11/22 through 11/28. Hoping the crowds won't be too bad! We requested Toy Story because DS loves Woody and Buzz! Alos hoping the weather is warm enough for swimming, but not as warm as it was yesterday there; 88
