I have a king booked. What are the rooms like? How many tv's? If more than one, is there a door/divider so you can actually watch 2 different shows without hearing both?
I have stayed in NJ several times. My recollection is one TV. It is a bit more than a plain hotel room, though not as spacious as, let's say an Embassy Suites, if you have seen those. Here is a link, maybe put the location in and see if any pictures there. http://www.amerisuites.com/index.shtml It is a nice place, nothing luxurious though.
We stayed at one in Minneapolis. The bedroom and bathroom area was divided from the couch/very small kitchen area by a half wall of sorts. The tv was in the other half of the open space. There was still a lot of walking room. I know this doesn't make sense. LOL! Sorry!
Our TV could turn so you could watch it in the living room and not bother the bedroom.
I stayed in one in San Antonio, TX. It was similar to what Jenn Lynn described. The hotel was very well maintained, and they had a nice continental breakfast.
Thanks gang. I knew I could count on my DIS friends to give me the skinny. I currently have ressies at Amerisuites in Cincinnati (north) - it is perfectly located for our purposes. I will have to see if there is a comparably priced Springhill nearby.
If it is the Amerisuites in Blue Ash, then I advise you not to stay there. We were there two weeks ago and it is not nice. If it is the Amerisuites just off 275 up closer to King's Island, it looks much newer.
