Anyone ever rented through 2 different DVC members in the same vacation

Im curious if anyone has ever rented DVC points and then decided to extend their stay and had to use another DVC member to add days?

Situation:
We rented 9/27 - 10/3.
Due to flight arrival times on 9/27 we decided to add 9/26.
Our normal DVC member we rent from didn't have any points available to add the day so we are having to find someone willing to rent us 1 day.

How does it work with Magical Express - We have never taken Magical Express but I assumed it was date specific. We are going 9/27 - 10/3 with our first rental. We decided to add 9/26 due to better flight options. So who do I need to have book magical express? Or does it matter? Do I need both of them to book it on both rentals so I can use the arrival for the 9/26 rental day and then use the departure tags from the initial 9/27 - 10/3 rental?

Magic bands - How does this work? I already did all the magic band information through our initial rental. Can I just link the 9/26 reservation and it will add to our current magic band orders?

If we got the Dining plan for 9/27 - 10/3 - Do we have to book the dining plan for 9/26 to link everything together.

Unfortunately we could not book the same type of room for 9/26. Staying in the same building at AK but a different view. What are the chances that if they have a SV room available on 9/26 when we get there, they will just go ahead and put us in it so we don't have to change rooms and they don't have to clean an extra room?

The 2 reservations will be treated separately, they won't be linked but the owners can have MS reference the other reservation which may keep the rooms close together.

You need to modify DME, add the DDP to the first reservation if you want it.

MDE needs to be modified, you may get additional magic bands but the originals can be used for the entire stay, hopefully the front desk can load them correctly.

I haven't been on the rentee's side of things but I have been the renter of points in a situation like this.

I rented points to someone for a stay Wed-Saturday. Then when the person booked their flights it was determined they needed to leave Tuesday due to flight costs. I didn't have any more points to rent. So they rented Tuesday night from another member.

We all three called member services and they were able to link these two reservations together. This will ensure you do not have to change rooms. You still might have to go down and get the key reset or something. But everything should be seamless.

Hope it works for you. Get both members and yourself on the phone with member services and they will get it straightened out.
 
Just re-read your post. Since you have different room categories booked you will have to move.

But you should have your Magical Express on the room for the first night and remove the arrival from the other reservation.
Then ensure that Magical Express is still there for the return back to the airport on the other reservation.

Again, get both members and yourself on the phone with member services and go through all this. Dining and everything will be explained and worked out.
