I just booked my ding SWA flights from Chicago and thought I would check out their options on car rentals. L&M has a mini van for $120 base price for the week, no other company comes close to this price. My DH called and asked them about it and they said if it is on SWA and you book and get a confirmation it is indeed the price. The only other charges would be if you didn't bring your insurace card and had to purchase insurance through them. Also tax was not added to this price and if you choose to pre pay for gas would be the only other charge. So is anyone familiar with this company? Good or Bad?

My brother used this co. his last trip. He was a little worried as well, but he came back telling me how great it was and that he would never pay top dollar for a more recognizable name again.

We have used them many times in the past with a minivan and had very good success. Nice condition vans, near new always, under 5-7,000 miles and not crowded at their counters.
They have always pretty much beat everyone else's prices we have found and have stayed true to the quoted price every time we've gone.
I never prepay for gas because you could be paying for gas you might not be able to use, unless you can return it almost empty. I would rather pay for the gas I consume, not what I "might" consume.
Have my own insurance, never purchased theirs and never a problem.
Good luck!

We rented a minivan last May for our WDW trip. I chose L&M because the were the least expensive and I am so glad I did! We ended up getting a Chevy Astro style minivan and it was near brand new. No complaints! Just don't purchase the insurance, that tacks another $100-$150 on the bill. The only thing that irked me is that we used our debit visa card and L&M "pre-authed" a large amount for the van rental which messed up our remaining money for the hotel. But that was my fault anyway, we should have used a different card. :smooth:
