Anyone ever met an Ewok at disney?

so i read you can meet ewoks near the star wars ride in MGM! has any one every seen ewoks outside of there? i have never heard of anyone actually meeting them...

im going in april so im thinking with the new star wars movie coming out there might be ewoks for sure!?!

but yeah has anyone met them before? pictures? anything?

That usually only occurs during Star Wars weekends, which usually take place mid-May to mid-June. They have several Star Wars chracaters at those times including an Ewok, Chewbacca, Darth Vadar, C3PO, Empire soldiers.

But son and grandsons did two years ago at Star Wars weekend.

They had one posing for pictures at SWW last May- it was sooo cute!! It looked just like one from the movie.

Our last trip there was right after the 2nd movie had come out and we got to see Eewoks, they kept taking DH's hat and pretending to chew it! LOL They are by the Star Wars Ride like you had said, and if you don't see them right away just ask the CM's in that store you come out into right after the ride. We were lucky enough to just run into Eewoks but I heard people (after we rode the ride) asking if the Eewoks would be back yet and the CM was telling them approximately when they would be returning that day. Their great for pictures! And our trip was in late June last time. I think Star Wars weekends were officially over by then but cannot be 100% sure.

They have Chewbacca!?!?! LOL We missed him last time, but that was actually my first word as a child! LOL Not Dad, not Mom, but CHEW-Ba-Ca! My dad loves Star Wars and I guess when I couldn't sleep as a baby he'd sit on the couch and watch it with me. So I guess my official first word was Chewy! LOL I sooo hope to run into him (Were going during Star Wars weekend this May!) because my parents would get a real kick out of pictures with him!!!!

We met an Ewok on a Dec trip a long time ago (1995) outside of Star Tours. The way they do autographs is pretty cute. It totally confused us at first......

The guy who plays Chewy at Star Wars Weekends posts a lot on WDWMAGIC. Chewy is his avitar and you can't miss him. He seems really nice.

We were fortunate emough to get a picture with Han Solo, Chewbacca and Wicket (the Ewok) with my daughter at SWW four years ago. They hammed it up pretty good.

I got my picture made with one in 1990 on our honeymoon (mine & my husband's honeymoon, not me and the Ewok!). He was cute - was standing on a bench outside of Star Tours.
