Anyone ever have STITCHES????

has anyone ever had stitches and how many did u get???? I just got stitches today and i got 24 they hurt..... they are right on my lower back.....ouch!!!!!!!

I actually have stitches right now. I had gallbladder surgery on Friday so I have stitches in my belly button (which is where they put the scope in with the camera) and then stitches in 3 different entry areas across my abdomen.
I have aldo had stitches after a gynecological surgery and stitches under my arm after the removal of pre cancerous cells.

hey, um.. i got 4 when i was like 3 because i was twirling around on my blanket cuz it was slipperey and i wanted to practice for skating cuz im a figure skater and i fell and hit my head on this cedar chest we have and it really hurt bcuz my dad's a cop and gave the doctor a ticket that day so he decided to do a crappy job on them!! how mean!

Princess....too funny...I skated for 14 years and used to twirl around on my blanket...luckily I never needed stitches from it though!

I've had them in my mouth from oral surgery and on my wrist from the removal of a cyst. I remember that they did hurt but...the medication they gave me took care of all the pain!! haha

I had to have my apendix taken out but no stiches. I hope I never get them though.

I got stiches across my forehead when I was 4 and I got stiches in my chin when I was 6 or 7. When I was 4 I was spinning in my mom's rolling chair and I hit my head on the corner of her desk. Becuase I was spinning it cut my whole forehead. I still have a little scar going through my eyebrow. When I was 6 or 7 my uncle and I were fighting over the tv and I went to tell my aunt who was mopping. I slipped and cut my chin on the corner if the toilet paper despencer. I dont remeber how mant stiches I got but I know I had altleast 20 in my forehead.

When I was in 2nd grade I almost had to get stitches in my knee when I took a hard fall.

When I was 6, I was playing baseball with the neighborhood kids... I was catcher, and I was standing a bit too close to the batter... and WHAM! Metal bat in my chin... I had to have 4 stiches.

But other than that, nothing else.

I got 8 stitches on the side of my head from Freshman year when I was tripped during a basketball game. Now that was a bloody mess!

Then 2 months later I got about, I don't know, 400 or so internal stitches in my back from the spinal fusion surgery I had to correct scoliosis. It made such a lovely scar!

I have snd stitches. 6 in my ear and i think 12 on my head. I have a lighting shaped scar because i was thrown off a horse. they tried to staple it closed twice but it didnt work.

I've had about 60 stitches (all internal) and 13 staples. I've had surgery twice (knee surgery when I was 16, and this past summer I had a benign tumor removed from my stomach... it was the size of a cantaloupe!)

i had to have a mole removed (actually it was a birth mark) it was pretty big.... thats why i got 24 stitches... but they removed them today so i wouldnt get stitch marks even though its still not healed all the way so they put these weird things where the stitches were i got a bruise the size of....oh i dont know.... a cd where they were....

i had 15 stiches on my forehead when i was six. My uncles friend decided to swing around by one arm and one leg in the kitchen and my forehead hit the handle on the oven.

I had 87 stitches on my stomach, and on my left leg. I fell down 15 steps while carring two plates and a bowl. There were 20 inner and 67 outer. All I can say is ouch...

Well all the bandages are off and I have 4 lovely scars from my stitches...wonderful *rolls eyes*
