Anyone ever had to prove their kid was 2?

I do take my kids on Tower of Terror. Up to them, though. But it is Mommy's favorite ride. Lol!

In all of WDW, outside of Peter Pan's Flight, TOT is my #1 ride. It is the one ride I make sure I get to ride more than once. I'd love to take him on it. He's a daredevil and would ride any coaster, but he has a thing about dark and doesn't like it at all. The drops he would love, but he barely made it through Haunted Mansion and only because it was dark.

Problem is, he's just 3 and he has no clue what's in store for him. You say ride and he's ready to go. It's only when it's too late that he decides it's not for him. So until he loses that scared of the dark or is old enough to understand, TOT out. I am burned by his behavior at IASW;)

I had an older gentleman CM thank me profusely for buying my 'barely' 3 year old DD a MNSSHP ticket. That encounter would lead me to believe that a lot of people are trying to get away with the no ticket thing. Not saying anyone here is, just what the CM's must deal with on a daily basis. That's why it doesn't bother me when they ask the age. Of course, I'm not trying to get away with anything either. ;)

We took our son last Oct to disney. He is very tall for his age and looks/acts older than his age (he was a a little over 2.5 yrs old at the time). A couple times coming into the parks we were asked his age but never required to show any proof. At Chef Mickey's I distinctly recall the host asking my son his age. I was not offended as I realize he looks older than he is and I'm sure some people "round down" rather than pay the high buffet costs for a 3 year old-now that our son is 3 we are seriously considering skipping all buffets this fall unless we decide to get a dining plan-$20+ for my son to have a glass of milk and eat a plates of fruit (like he did at chef mickey's last fall) is way too steep lol

Our DD is extremely tall for her age. As in she is in the 99th percentile for height and was 38 1/2 inches last we measured her (a month ago). She is also very smart and highly developed for her age and is commonly mistaken for a 4 or 5 year old.

Should I bring a copy of her birth certificate to prove her age?

they will not ask.
no need to bring a birth certificate to the parks.
my niece was 41 inches tall at 2yrs4mos and was ALWAYS mistaken for a 4-5yr old.
there was no problem at disney world.

I've brought 2yo twice now and never been questioned. In Nov my middle DS was 3.5 and over 40" (he's tall for his age) and there was more than one CM that was surprised he had a ticket, they were just going to wave him through.

You'll be fine :)

DD keeps hoping to ride Star Tours, Test Track and Soarin but I keep telling her she can only do it at 40". I swear she is trying to force herself to grow faster! :rotfl:
My granddaughter hoped to grow, too. She missed it by less than half an inch.
Ah, yes and the only time she needed her birth certificate was when she flew on the airline. They check.
