On our honeymoon I was able to convince him to wear a Mickey/Minnie wedding tshirt one day...and those pictures are my favorite (pre baby!). We've gone twice with DD before and I have made a day of shirts both times and he has not wanted to wear them both times. They were white shirts...not like they were neon pink or anything. We go in 3 weeks and I would love to make shirts but I know it isn't worth the money. I may make shirts for DD and I....matching Mommy-daughter shirts :)

Mine refuses to wear them. I keep trying. My DD7 is starting to think they are "weird" too. Oh well...my DS2 doesn't know better yet.;)

Keep workin him on it, he will come around, hopfully:goodvibes

My dh was not keen on it and refused our first trip when oldest dd was 3, then when we had middle daughter he did it and did it without hesitation and we have every year since. Except when we went without kids this oct. We use it as a tracking device for finding each of us too, but really just because I love the pictures after:)

My DH wears matching shirts, but if yours doesn't want to then I would pick your battles and leave it be.

My husband would match with my son if we could find soemthign premade...he's not the homemade shirt type...but as for all of wearing the same shirt, it wouldn't happen! Instead we bought everyone shirts from the Disney store in our favorite characters.

No way my DH would wear matching anything with us. Its not a big deal to me, I choose not to fight over things like that. Now I just make all the kids matching shirts and they wear them. This will be the last trip that DS-13 wears matching also.

You all made me realize that he wore the shirt on our honeymoon which was not handmade. Maybe I will ask him about buying matching shirts through Disney.com....I already checked our Disney Store and none match with toddler shirts. :) Thanks all!!! And you're right...pick my battles. I just get upset sometimes because I spend so much time making them and get excited about it.

My dh wouldn't be caught dead in matching shirts. However, he's not a disney lover.

I think they're cute...but it's not something I'm going to push him on. Heck, I'm lucky to get him to agree to just go! LOL

My DH will not wear 'matching' shirts but he will wear a general theme matching shirt. For instance, He and DS wore mickey shirts and my DM and I wore Minnie t's.

I just make the matching shirts for DS and me and let it be. I'd rather have him happy at WDW than grumpy cause I made him match my clothes :)

DH is a Disney lover but would never wear matching shirts as a family, and I honestly don't blame him. DH and DS did wear Mickey shirts on the same day (from the Disney store) once but they were different styles. We don't ever match and that's ok for us!:goodvibes

My husband doesn't even want to wear a Disney shirt altogether. My 3 children and I have Disney shirts to wear, but he doesn't want one. I realized that I should just leave this issue alone. It took alot to get him to agree to go, so I figure that I should just let him wear what he feels comfortable in.

My husband would sooner have his manly bits ripped off than wear matching Disney t-shirts. My daughters (ages 5 and 3 mos.) have matching shirts for our upcoming trip though.

I don't want to wear one! And I am fairly sure no one else in the family does either.

ONCE we all did, when my Mother in Law made them and made a huge deal out of the whole family getting a picture taken in them at Disney. It was a trip with all of her kids and kids' families.

Thing is, once the picture was taken, she wanted nothing to do with the children - never took them by themselves with her, never even joined the families individually. I am not sure what the point was...and that is a bit of bitterness drug up!:rotfl:

Anyways, no wearing of matching anythings.

My DH would NEVER wear a matching shirt.....NEVER..... and believe me, I've tried. He is very naturally reserved, so while I continue to offer him the option, I know it's not something that he would do.

My husband is the same way. I'd also feel weird trying to dress him by picking out his clothing. Our relationship isn't that way.

I won't wear matching shirts. I think it's corny. Thank goodness DH agrees with me.

We won't even put our boys in matching shirts. They are 20 months apart, and people ALWAYS ask us if they are twins. They are not. And why are people so obsessed about that? They are two individuals, with their individual tastes (and they are only 4 and 5). Even if they were twins, we'd not match them. I let my kids pick out their own shirts each day. They have their definite preferences.

My husband didn't want to wear them, but we are part of a grand gathering and I suggested wearing t-shirts for the 2 days we are at MK. One will be each person has their appropriate dwarf of the 7 dwarfs. I should have made my husband Grumpy because he is about the shirts, but he is not generally that way. Anyway, I told him to just think it's all for the kids and it's not going to kill him to wear a couple. He insisted that the pics not make it onto Facebook though. :rolleyes1

They are turning out really cute, so I'll post pics once the shirts are finished.

Nope are you kidding? Actually no one in our family would wear them including myself. I'm with the poster who called it corny :thumbsup2

We're the opposite. DH would LOVE to do something like that, and I'm the holdout.

So on our last trip, we compromised. I made tshirts for DH and DS, so they could matchy matchy. And on the day that they wore their Skellington shirts, I had a cheapie black bag that I'd put Jack's face on, and I carried my camera, etc, in that bag. That way I matched them in some way, without having to wear a tshirt.

DS was very very pleased that I'd joined in!
