Anyone else watching The Bachelorette?

That is exactly what Graham reminds me of, a pouting child. He seems like he would be a lot of work in a relationship. Like you would have to spend tons of energy to get him to communicate with you. I understand that the camera's might have made him nervous and scared to open up somewhat, but he knew that he was going to be filmed when he signed up for the show. He had to have known that his "standoffish" behavior would scare her off. I just don't seem him as being ready for a long term relationship because that would mean COMMUNICATING!! Just my opinion!

I totally agree, and to be honest, I think Graham's mother was trying to warn DeAnna. She was pretty outspoken about his lack of commitment in the past.

If she does pick someone in the end, it will never last.

Did anyone else notice how pissed she was at the Rose Ceremony last nite when she walked in? It was like she did it to get it out of the way, so she could have it out with Graham.

I noticed that too. She didn't even say a few words like they always do. She just walked in and started handing out roses. You could tell she was upset, that's for sure.

And I agree with Graham looking smug and uncaring at the rose ceremony. I think that's what really pissed her off.

I think Jason had the best HTD. It was absolutely adorable when he was so excited to see her and when he ran to Ty. She really seemed comfortable around him and his family. I think he's also the only one that she mentioned anything about falling in love with (other than Graham of course) last night.

Although I really like Jeremy, I don't think she's in love with him. It almost seems like she's trying to will herself to fall in love w/ him b/c he is so perfect. It just seems like he's far more into her than she is into him.

Whenever I see her with Jesse, I get that friends vibe. I just don't see any chemistry between these two at all. I think he seems like a nice guy, but there is just something missing b/t the two of them.

I am BEYOND happy that Graham went home. He really missed the boat by not opening up. Granted, after just a few weeks on a TV show it'd be really hard to open up. Still, he really didn't make any effort to show his feelings to D. Can you imagine being with someone like that? Yikes!

Trista and Ryan of course they show updates of them all the time, and I think his name was Byron and I don't remember the girls name but they are suppose to be getting married soon. Am I dreaming? Anyone know who I'm talking about?

Trista and Ryan of course they show updates of them all the time, and I think his name was Byron and I don't remember the girls name but they are suppose to be getting married soon. Am I dreaming? Anyone know who I'm talking about?

Her name is Mary and she was one of bachelor Bob's rejects that they brought back in the middle of Byron's season. They were together for 3.5 years until last November when she assaulted him and got arrested! There is a picture of her mug shot if you google "Byron and Mary". It doesn't say if they ever got back together, but it was quite a story. I just watched their entire series when VH1 has the Bachelor marathon a couple of weeks ago. They were really a great couple and I was sorry to hear that she went nuts.

I am really routing for Jason. I really like all three guys. Thank goodness she sent Graham home. That was the best decision she has made so far. He is just not there yet. The way they communicate is compltely different and it will just cause huge problems in the future. I completely see him backing out and having a reply of last year, if she were to have kept him.

I like Jeremy, but I haven't seen them get past the death of their parents and I realize that brought them together, but I just don't see more than that there.

Jesse - nice guy - I just don't see them together in the long run.

Jason seems to be the only other guy that she was really gaga over other than Graham. His dad was amazing last night. I wish my FIL were more like him!

Holy cow... she was BEGGING Graham to say something...anything.. and he could not do it... he could not even look at her for pete's sake
on the Hometown date... she was ALL OVER HIM he seemed to keep her at arms length... I just don't think it was there for him.. and for her.. it was definitely physical

as for the rest of the hometown dates... JESSE!!! all the way!!! I like how both of them seem to be easing into this relationship in a progressive way.

Jason... while he is very sweet, hot and father to an adorable son... I don't know if he will be there by the end....

Jeremy... I guess I don't see him as smarmy as alot of you do. He seems to have alot going for him ... so being married would be the next thing to accomplish.

I agree with everything except Jeremy...there is just something smarmy about him...though I feel a bit better about him after last night.

I think the conversation between Graham's mother and DeAnna was very telling....even mom said all he does is hold people out of arm's length.

Don't you think in general ALL the families were pretty great? Usually there is some drama with one family or another, but they all seemed pretty normal this time.

I agree with you though, I want Jason to win, even if I am not sure she deserves him...

Byron and Mary is who you are thinking of. They were in the news a few months ago, right after Brad final rose show, because she was arrested for hitting him. So I dont know if they are still together.

I have a feeling DeAnna wont pick anyone as well. I guess I like Jesse and Jason the best, but I dont see her with either of them in the end.

They show Trista and Ryan because they are the only success.

Byron and Mary were engaged. I don't know if they still are since she assaulted him physically and was arrested earlier this year or late last year. It was in the paper and on the internet.

I kind of hope so. After watching their season, I really liked both of them. The one thing that surprises me is that she said she wanted to get married and have kids right away because she was in her late 30's. I think she is 40 now, and she better get going if that is still the case!

I think he thought she was going to give him a rose so he was smiling a)because he knew how into him she was and b) so he could be the one not to accept the rose. Smug boy thought it would work his way and was pissed when it didn't!!

Deanna was saying what I was thinking- she was going to fall for him but he wasn't going to fall for her.

Although I thought Jason was toast after the way she uncomfortably interacted with his son.

I don't see any of them being marriage material right now. I think she may pull the same thing that happened to her with the I think I just let love walk out the door. or whatever it was she said. I'm glad she woke up and realized "Hey he's not that into you"

My few cents.

LOVED Jesse last night. He seems the most honest and realistic about the whole progression of their relationship and is not getting caught up in the "show" aspect of it all. I think that says a lot about him. His parents were also great and clearly adore him. Even though he is the youngest of the guys he seems the most level-headed and unlike the other two doesn't come off as at all desperate.

Jeremy looks great on paper and he does seem the most into her by far. I think my opinion of him changed for the better after the hometown date. He came off as more wounded and needy than creepy. I am just kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop with that guy. But I think his life would be the easiest for her to fit into.


I can see I am in the minority here, but I don't like Jason much. He makes my teeth hurt! I know a LOT of people do it but guys calling their sons "buddy" is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. Hearing that over and over again last night made me cringe. I don't get the sense that he is into her at all -- he just wants to find someone, anyone, after his divorce. I wonder why we didn't get to see HIS house and instead his parents place? Don't they all live in Seattle? Being physical and athletic are pretty shallow reasons for thinking someone will fit into a family IMO. So dear old dad didn't impress me by saying that. It was nice to them to try to make something Greek though.

Practically speaking -- he's in Seattle and she's in GA. You don't get much farther away from each other than that. I just DO NOT see her willing to move clear across the country to be with him because she has made it crystal clear that she is ALL about family. And since Jason has "Ty" I don't think he COULD move to be with her. Unless the kid's mom is completely out of the picture. Even so, I don't see Jason being willing to move away from HIS family either. I think these two are doomed by geography.

And what was up with Deanna giving the kid a GOLF BALL?? And what did she say... "I brought something for you -- do you want it?" -- that was just strange to me. And who doesn't know what the Space Needle is???

Glad to see she gave Graham the boot. But the way she was talking you get the distinct impression that if she picks anyone else at all that she will be settling.

I am glad I am not the only one who thought it was strange about the golf ball (if she had any knowledge about kids that so would not of been the gift) AND not knowing what the heck the Space Needle is. I didn't think she was that dumb.

I have a "Graham" for a husband. After 18 years of marriage he still has some difficulties communicating. You have to be very patient(and that takes time) which is not on Deanna's side. It took years for my DH to open up. There is alot of poking and prodding. But, I love my DH and thank God for him every day. He is the sweetest loving man.

I hope Deanna is okay. I wonder if her decision to let Graham go will effect her other dates. I think it would be difficult to have a date with someone else but be so hurt over another.
