Anyone else watching "Revenge"?

Just finished watching last night's show...loved it!!! I do think that the real Emily is going to get as much out of the fake Emily as she can....as she has money and connections. I always wondered which team Nolan was on, but didn't think about Tyler! Just hope Nolan stays on his path with helping Emily and doesn't get sidetracked by his attraction to Tyler.....never let yourself be conned by a fellow con man! I wonder if the compass that Emily gave Jack was something he had seen as a little boy that was Emily's fathers....and he will realize the significance at some point. I was glad that Emily said that Daniel was not a target....maybe she is falling for him.

I think she likes Daniel...but he is a means to an end. She doesn't love him. DId you see her hand when he said he loved her and they kissed? Her right hand had a death crip on the arm rest. She is in love with Jack.

And to a pp that thinks Daniel is David's son. Umm...no, I don't think broadcast TV would cross that line. The only way I could see that would be if Amanada wasn't David's bio daughter, but adopted or some other far fetched story line.

Now that Tyler has hooked up with Nolan, I think he is a bigger wild card.

Yeah- I noticed the "death grip" too. I hope it is Jack that she really loves.
I thought it was going to be Charlotte that was David's.
One, Charlotte is younger, and two- Conrad mentioned last night that they would "lose" Daniel if her testimony against David was not beliveable. "Lose" him caught my attention.

I don't think Nolan has switched sides. I felt he was just using Tyler and planning to blackmail him with the video if he causes more trouble. It looked like the sex was just a convenient bonus to him.

I hope Nolan doesn't "fall" for Tyler - Nolan is lonely and desperate for friends. Remember he said he would give Jack back his boat if he would hang out with him for the summer?

I wonder if Tyler and Ashley are going to "team up" now since he told her the "truth."

I think Emily/Amanda is in love with Jack, but she has keep her eye on the prize - bringing the Graysons down. It was nice to see Charlotte go after Declan, and make things right though.

I also don't trust Amanda/Emily. I see her causing trouble in the near future. At least she got Frank out of the way ...

Yeah, I did see her hand clench the swing, but it can also be because she doesn't want to love him...that he was supposed to be a means to an end, but has become more. I just feel bad for Daniel....seems like he is stuck in the middle....not knowing all the bad stuff that goes on around him. I did feel like Emily's tears were for real when she was talking with Jack on the dock and telling him she is with Daniel. Who knows....she might wind up loving both guys. Lots of twists and turns to this series.

Just had another thought.....Why do you think Nolan is so intent on pushing Jack and Emily together. Do you think it is just because Emily's dad asked Nolan to make sure they get together....or is there another reason?? I would love to see a flashback of Nolan and Emily's dad discussing Emily and her future.

That could be. He knows she would be in good hands if she went w/ Jack, and he promised her dad he would look out for her. He probably has a feeling she's in love with Jack too.

I like Nolan, and he obviously cares about Emily/Amanda, but who knows how long he will continue to put himself out there for her.

I forgot to post this earlier. For those wondering what Nolan's comment meant about being a 3 on the Kinsey scale. That means bi-sexual. I had to look it up last night. . 1-2 mean forms of heterosexual and 4-5 are forms of homosexuality so 3 is bi.

I know...I just threw that out there about Daniel being David's son. I really HOPE that's not the case, because...ewww.

I also don't think for one second Nolan is going to fall for the Tyler game. He's not stupid. He's getting his own satisfaction plus dirt for Emily. I don't see him turning his back on Emily.

I think the best twist in this show is that we're all "rooting" for the girl who's seeking revenge and killing off everyone!

I think Nolan wanted to have something to use against Tyler in the future. Tyler doesn't seem to want anyone to know he's gay. I'll be cusious to see if Frank is really dead. It didn't seem like such a great place to hide a body either.

I must be the only one but when my beloved Nolan "got together" with Tyler we all screamed "NO!!!!" I did not like that plot twist AT ALL. I guess it goes to another level when someone goes to that extent and uses sex as a revenge tool.
The 1st 2 or 3 episodes were so fantastic and I don't like the direction it has gone since as much. I just don't finish the episode with the same feeling- hard to put in words.
I still love the show but I guess I need to give it more time to develop to make a final judgment.

LOL! I knew immediately, though Andrew and I didn't watch the show until this afternoon!

I immediately thought Nolan was using sex with Tyler to get intel he could use against him later. The "free" sex was just a bonus, no doubt. I do hope we eventually get some flashbacks that explain the connection between Nolan and Amanda or Nolan and Amanda's dad, because he has a very strong big brother attitude towards her (in addition, I think, to finding all the plotting just fun to do).

It is interesting the way people have such loyalty to Amanda -- not only Nolan, but the warden and the real Emily. The real Emily was willing to assault (and possibly kill?) a threat to Amanda, even though they had not been in touch for years. She looked genuinely thrilled to see Amanda again -- like finding a long-lost sister. There seems to be something about her that inspires tremendous loyalty, which I find fascinating since the way she is portraying herself right now, you get no sense of why that would be since she is rather cold and distant.

I don't think Amanda loves Jack -- how could she? She's spent next to no time with him. Plus he's way shorter than her. LOL

I think she may indeed be falling in love with Daniel and her death grip on the swing during their kiss was to, in effect, keep herself from swinging too far and losing grip of her ultimate goal. It would be easy for her to fall in love with Daniel and choose to forget her revenge plot-- that would be the easier path, but she's determined to get revenge, so she has to keep herself steady and grounded.
