Anyone else watching "Revenge"?

I immediately thought Nolan was using sex with Tyler to get intel he could use against him later. The "free" sex was just a bonus, no doubt. I do hope we eventually get some flashbacks that explain the connection between Nolan and Amanda or Nolan and Amanda's dad, because he has a very strong big brother attitude towards her (in addition, I think, to finding all the plotting just fun to do).

It is interesting the way people have such loyalty to Amanda -- not only Nolan, but the warden and the real Emily. The real Emily was willing to assault (and possibly kill?) a threat to Amanda, even though they had not been in touch for years. She looked genuinely thrilled to see Amanda again -- like finding a long-lost sister. There seems to be something about her that inspires tremendous loyalty, which I find fascinating since the way she is portraying herself right now, you get no sense of why that would be since she is rather cold and distant.

I don't think Amanda loves Jack -- how could she? She's spent next to no time with him. Plus he's way shorter than her. LOL

I think she may indeed be falling in love with Daniel and her death grip on the swing during their kiss was to, in effect, keep herself from swinging too far and losing grip of her ultimate goal. It would be easy for her to fall in love with Daniel and choose to forget her revenge plot-- that would be the easier path, but she's determined to get revenge, so she has to keep herself steady and grounded.

We were at wdw last week and my dvr didn't record anything - was there a new episode on last week?

I have to keep reminding myself that everything since the first episode is a flashback, am I correct? The series started at the engagement party and then they said "five months earlier" and showed when Emily/Amanda first showed up in the Hamptons.

We are working our way back to the engagement party, aren't we?

Or is it back to the future? :confused3

I like the show a lot, and I liked Emily VanCamp in the show Brothers and Sisters, but something about her in this show is boring me. She is playing a complex character so one dimensionally personality wise..does that make sense? Just really monotone/drab-like. Is it because she is supposed to be *in control*, cool as a cucumber focused on her goal? I don't know but I am finding all the other characters more interesting than her lately. Maybe tonight she will be more interesting to me.

Love to watch but I have such a hard time falling asleep afterwards! Way too much suspense!

Last nights episode was so good. I have a strong feeling Amanda/Kara is going to screw up everything for Emily. She seems a little stalkerish.

Yea, I don't trust Amanda/Kara. I also don't like how she's trying to get w/ Jack, but I'm sure it's part of her plan to cause trouble for Emily.

Tyler seems to be working his "magic" on Ashley. I wonder what he's going to do w/ the letter Victoria shredded.

I think Lydia is starting to get bits and pieces of her memory back; she probably heard everything that Victoria said while she was on the phone.

Nolan is still my favorite. :lmao:

She certainly heard every word of what was said at the front door.

I'm two weeks behind, so I'm anxious to know what I've missed. Anyone care to catch me up?

I loved last nights episode! It was so good!

Me too! I can't wait to see how this all plays out.

I feel bad for Nolan. And I also think that Emily needs him whether she wants to admit it or not.

I'm ready for the real Emily to bite the dust now (and she can take Tyler with her). I don't like her at all. Her voice bothers me. But I love her hair.
