Anyone else waiting to hear about NYC?

I kind of forgot I entered the lottery for the NYC marathon this year since I did it right after new years. I know there is probably a 1 in 1429539034 chance I'll make it, but a girl can dream! Sadly, even if I do make it this year I'll probably have to defer until next year since I'm already committed to Goofy and paid for registration and hotel. Anyone else waiting to find out the lottery results today?

Even though the list hasn't officially been posted, I'm guessing I didn't make it. My CC hasn't been charged, and others have said their cards were already charged. It's probably best because after watching the opening day video I was trying to figure out how to financially make it work this year. We're trying to save to buy a house this fall, so a $600-$700 race weekend just for me to run NYC would have cut into our down payment savings!

Same boat here. No charges yet and trying to figure $ out too! I usually use my tax return to go on 1 big run vacation a year, and this year's is going towards Goofy in January, so everything would be really tight for the rest of the year. That's okay though, it's my last year in the lotto so I'm in for next year.

They're still charging cards though just because some have been charged doesn't mean everyone's been charged. And no this is not me being overly optimistic since my Dad is in charge of all the money and thus has the info to check our ccs and is twelve hours ahead and not answering his phone I don't have a clue whether or not I'm in.

Just checked, no for me too. But that's probably for the best. Plus, now there's no stress next year and I don't have to deal w/ all the craziness next year of trying to figure out what site to go to and whether it was a yes or no. And if I can save enough $ I might even be able to stay at a little better hotel.

$600-700? if you are from out of town that's probably just your hotel room if you want to stay anywhere in manhatan

I'm with guaranteed entry per their 9+1 program for the third year in a row. I'm excited to give my hometown marathon one more run, but this will be my last new york for at least a few years. Time to make it really count!

That was my estimate for airfare plus registration. DH has an Aunt and Uncle that live just outside NYC, so I figured I'd stay with them if I made it in and figure out race morning transportation. Good Luck with the marathon! Hopefully I'll make it in sometime. I jumped on the train too late to be able to get in after 3 years in the lottery

Sadly I'm not in either. Although I too would have most likely deferred this year because I have Houston Half Marathon, Marine Corps Marathon, maybe Houston Metric, and Wine and Dine.
