Ok- I am on Weight Watchers, and hence watching the calories. BUT- I have been craving fried cheese sticks like crazy!!!! Well, I had an idea to make my own "baked at home" version.
Why do I bother? Blech. They are horrible. I bought light mozzarella string cheese, and dipped it in egg, then in italian breadcrumbs, and put them in the oven to get "crisp." I heated some pizza sauce to dip them in. They looked really good, but just taste like garbage.
Anyone else have a recipe makeover story? Good or bad?
