We're DVC members since 1992 and just sent in the payment for our 4th add on. This will bring our total to 615 points.

Sometimes I think ARE WE CRAZY!!!!!

We just got back from WDW and probably won't be returning till 2006 ( unless I can sneak in a trip sometime late next year )
and I already found a BCV contract I'm interested in buying....I just faxed back our offer today

I thought after our 2 1/2 week trip I would be cured for a while......it's only gotten worse

Going to WDW only makes me want to go back once I get home. It doesn't cure a darn thing, just aggravates the condition.

If 615pts is crazy then we are insane - we have 700pts - 300VWL and 400OKW pts and I still want more!

I love more points - but the financial situation at present won't allow it.

I have 350 - 240 at OKW, 60 at VWL and 50 at BWV - I would love some at BCV....

I am not sure about SSR - but as I say before my nephew and niece are still teenagers - when they get in their 20's - SSR might be the resort of choice.

I'll have to print this thread and save it for the next time I want to do an add-on. This way I can show it to my DH and say "see we're not crazy. Maybe a little nuts (about Disney) but not crazy"

You can never have enough points or spend too much time at WDW. We bought 200 pts in 2000 at BWV, then added 25. We bought 225 from BCV when it opened. We then bought another 125 at BWV. My goal is 1000pts.

We are on our 3rd contract right now thinking, yeah, this will be enough. Sounds like that way of thinking doesnt hold true

I doubt you are crazy, although I do guess in January you might be CRANKY -- dues kinda suck. We have 390 and there are NEVER enough!

AMEN to the maintenance fees -- that's the one thing that keeps us from adding on more points (although we consider ourselves very fortunate to have been able to purchase 620 points)!

Fortunately we are not hit hard with dues in January. Most of our dues is taken directly from our checking account monthly. We pay a lump sum on a addon of 33 points and we'll see what happens with this contract of 150.

I don't think you are crazy, you just have Disney "itis". We first bought 210 pts in 1994 and have added on several times and now have 600 points. (All OKW). It is now 10 years later and our children are grown and DH has a very demanding job, but we still love DVC and go frequently and sometimes with extended family. The best treat for me is when I go solo----took me a while, but WOW do I enjoy that-----totally stress free vacation. That is when I really recharge my batteries.
