My husband and I have shared our primary email for as long as we've had internet service (1990? I think?)
We both have a work email address too although neither one of us use those email accounts outside of work.
We really didn't know any better when we did it, we created one account for ourselves and our dd to use. LOL, not so surprisingly as soon as dd got old enough to email much herself she created her own account and left dh and I to ourselves. And that's the way we've stayed ever since. We even both access the same account on our Iphones.
I doubt we'll ever change it either since it's always worked to well. Of course we have a lot of respect for each other and we don't open emails that we know are intended for the other.
I always thought we were the only ones doing this until I read an article tonight that mentioned lots of couples are doing the same thing. I was really surprised and it made me wonder if this is common or not...
