Anyone else not like the new look?

I've been away from the boards for awhile so maybe I just need to get used to it!?
Think the other look was easier to read!

I like it, a little bit more busy perhaps, but still nice. The only thing I miss is the link to go to first unread message. Or maybe I haven't found it yet!

Carib - the first new post is the little arrow to the left of the title. I like the holdover so you can get to read the info for a preview to see what is inside.

I like it a lot! I think it's cool that you can see part of the original post when you leave your cursor on the thread title for a moment!

You can change that yourself in the CP user controls...Or at least you should.

I liked the old board & this one also is just fine. My only issue is that whether its the old or new board, I am unable to get into the Friday night cruise chat. Is anyone else having the same difficulties?

The only advice I can give to anyone who don't like it, give Alex some time to get all the custom stuff from the old board back in.

As far as it looking like another one out there, it's going to. There are only two or three good forum software packages out there and Vbulletin seems to be the most stable out of them. The Dis was just on an older version than most is all.

Mr tchr, what machine and internet provider are you using? The new chat is actually supposed to be more compatible than the old one.

I like it, I like changing the color, it seems faster to me, in the past quite often I could not even get into the DIS.....

search function is disabled but being worked on- when working there is a link to search in the forum jump at the bottom of the page, it's sub heading is site areas
