Anyone else having problems with new Members Only website?

1) My registration went fine. But when we filled out the registration page for my husband (using his separate Vacation Club ID and PIN, of course) and then clicked Register Now, it kept going back to the top of the same page. After trying that four times, we tried to sign him in, but it wouldn't recogize his user name and password.

2) I tried to use the Points Calculator, and it didn't work. I put in the dates and other data for the vacation we have planned and have ressies for next March, and it came up (repeatedly) saying "there is no data for this criteria."

Anyone else having problems? I've sent an email to Member Services, which of course is closed on the weekends, so we won't know until Monday or Tuesday if we're doing something wrong. If they tell us that only one of us needs to register, I'll be pretty steamed!

I had the reverse problem. I registered first then my DW's but only my wife works. Tried the password recovery link and it doesn't work.
Just went in on my DW pin and tried some things and it froze my computer for 5 minutes and I had to close it out.

Hpoe it works better than this .

Same problem with registration. I did hubby first, now I can't do mine. Oh, well. I'll just use his.

I keep getting frozen when I try to do the virtual tour for SSR's pool.

I had a problem with registration also.

After I filled in all the infomation required, it kept going back to the same registration page without explanation.

I phoned MS and they said to only use 5 digits in your zip code (I was using 9). I tried it and it worked!

Good luck!

I registered myself, didn't try DH, without a problem. Did have trouble with the points calculator like the other poster I have a March '05 trip booked but got the same no data available message when I entered it in the planner.

::MickeyMo Hope that works out for you .. The website is new so it will be experiencing tech problems.. Sorry to hear you dont like the idea we're closed on the weekends, but we need time off too.

Sorry nobody there likes the idea of working weekends - in Bangalore they have no problem with it. Oh, that's right - Disney already said they were going to be sending lots of jobs to India. Can you guess which are going to go first?

I've had similar problems. I think it only wants you to have one registration per logged on computer. I haven't checked, but it may be putting a cookie out on the pc. Right now it thinks it is my wife signed in when I go to the website.

Some browsers may work better than others. I was using a Mac and Safari and it wouldn't accept the registration. It just kept going back to the registration screen. With IE it worked fine.

Just tried to register my DH again with just 5 digits in the zip code box and it WORKED. Had to change his users ID because his first choice was taken.
Thanks BigDisneyKid for your help.

Thanks Dean!!! I couldn't get it to work on my mac through netscape and saw your post and it worked fine through IE !

I have received my details but not my PIN. I also do not have a 2004-5 brochure yet:mad:

We're having problems too. My DH registered with no problem but I'm having absolutely no luck. It keeps telling me my pin is wrong--but it isn't. SIGH!!!

I am having problems too. I can't get to the virtual tours section. :( I've got macromedia flash player loaded and it is working and the DVC download page says I have the right version. But every time I click on the "take a Virtual Tour" link, it says I don't have it and that I have to go to the DVC download page. Anyone with the same problem? / Anyone able to help?

Do you have a pop up blocker. If so, that's likely your problem. If not, it may be your browser. Try reloading Flashplayer and restarting your computer if nothing else works.

Glad to help. Are you using system X, if so, you may want to consider Safari. While I couldn't register using it, I can sign on with it. Safari is much faster and works well with the keychains of the Mac.

I've had a logon for disney.com for a very long time now. Use it for shopping online, among other things. I found that as long as I logged into the username first, then it simply linked my DVC membership to that existing registration. That may be why it said your DH's was already taken, it may have already been taken by *him*. LOL!
