mine started 3 months ago..
I get a dull upper right quad discomfort. Never really painful.. Maybe a few times a day it will hurt. But mostly it is a dull ache.
Been to the doctor and GI doctor 4 times so far. Have all the tests they asked for. I did have H-plyori and been treated for that. I go back in one week for follow test for that. But the ultra sound and stool and blood and all the tests have come back with nothing. I do not have celiaic disease, my liver is fine, no gallstones or ulscers. Next step is the upper GI scope. I am holding off no that till first of may as our disney vacation is in 2 weeks.
Anyway, it is not horrible. but enough to be aware of daily. does not keep me from working or such. It has not gotten better or gotten worse either in the 3 months..
Anyone else ever go thru this without answers from the MDs

). Her doc said that he thinks the kind of functional problem she has is actually related to IBS, and that someday they will understand the mechanisms behind it. He also thinks that this kind of functional (reflux-related) problem and IBS are probably related (lots of people, just like you, have both). Interesting stuff, but a big pain in the butt (literally!!)
. I, too, live on Prilosec because it keeps my stomach from feeling like it's churning.
(BTW, I have a very high pain tolerance)
