and never used it once ?

I thought we would have some opportunities to save money on the resorts with the Visa card. We have had no reason to use the card once. So many other credit cards offer better benefits. I really assumed the card would be more of a value than Disney Club.

I use mine all the time. I have $40 in rewards for my October trip. I also got to buy advance tickets for the Lion King in Pittsburgh, public sale is not until 9/12. I'm hoping once Disney Club ends at the end of the year that they come out with more perks. I would really like to see ticket discounts comperable to DC.

I just used mine for the 1st time. I'm only planning on using it once in a while to keep it active. I use another card where I get FF miles.

To get the discounts, you just have to log into the bank's web site. Choose the Disney card. The "specials" are posted.

We have used this card almost exclusively since Day 1 and while I know 1% is not great we have over $300 in certificates toward our stay at the Polynesian in Nov. This is with purchases that would be made regardless of having this card (used to use my Toys R Us Visa and earned rewards toward my Christmas shopping). I have no need for frequent flyer miles at this time and we pay the balance off every month. DH has been using this card for his business which really lets us rack up the points. I will probably go back to my old Visa once our trip is over - at least until we start planning the next trip!

We use ours exclusively too and have racked up about $210 in rewards.

I use mine for work also which helps!

used mine and will have around $45 for our trip in November.

Overall, I've been disappointed in the card and I have let them know. First, the offers other than the 1% reward (which is low) are really not that great at all especially in comparison to the Disney Club. Second, I was unhappy when I read (here on the site) that some card holders last month got double rewards for purchases from the Disney Store. I did not get this offer and could never get a straight answer out of them on why. I even wrote their CardMember Services Director and as of today, have not heard a word back.

I will continue to pass money through this card to earn the small reward points but will be on the look out for a better deal.

I've had it also since day and just started using it.

That's because i was using citibank's Upromise card. That also gives you just 1% but it is in the form of cash. It goes into an account where you can either open college saving plans or request the money and they will send it to you.

Although i don't think there is a limit on what you can earn in the account by shooping through upromise or registering credit cards with them there is a limit that you can earm from the Citibank upromise card. Since i just hit the $300 a year limit now i'll use the disney visa.

At least with upromise i can get that 1% in the form of cash and not have to spend it on DIsney.

FYI... since i registered my disney visa with my upromise account, if i shop at disneystore online (through the upromise site) i get the disney visa's skimpy 1% but also get 4% from disney sent to my upromise account. Other stores are different percentages.

Like others this is mostly regular spending. Food, phone bill, cell phone, satellite, car insurance and stuff.

I really thought this card would have been so much better than it is.

I just started using my card. We had been using one that got FF points, but now that I have enough for free tickets for our trip in April, I want to start getting points so that I can afford a better room than without it. The 1% is not much, but we use the card to pay for everything that we can, food, gas, newpaper, movies, anyplace that will take credit cards we use them, even if the bill is tiny. We then pay the bill off each month. It can add up. Hope to have enough points to use it for an upgrade from standard to savannah at the AKL! Once we get close to time for the trip we will probably switch back to the FF card. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We use the Blue Cash American Express Card. It is a tiered program and we are able to get 3% back on purchases at gas stations, gorcery stores, drug stores, and home improvement stores. Plus we get 1% on everything else.

We spend at least $400 on groceries a month so that is at least a $12/month cash rebate just on those products.

We use a gas card to save 5% on gas.

Seems like a much better deal than Disney although if they changed the program a bit we would jump on the bandwagon.
