I don't think they're attractive but they sure feel good. My daughter wears them instead of slippers in the house.

My mother has a pair of these things and they look like giant clown shoes. I'm all for comfort, but come on! You gotta have a little pride in your appearance.

i used to think they were very ugly, but they grew on me seeing them on others. and to hear how comfy they are, well, i'm going to try them!

I am an avid croc hater. On my last trip I saw way too many pairs worn way too many ways. the crocs with socks must have been our favorite though. I just don't get the hype. they look uncomfortable and unattractive!!! I'll take my comfy sneakers any day

I showed crocs to my 9 year old dd and told her I was thinking about buying a pair and wanted to know if she wanted a pair and she looked at me like I was insane. She is the self proclaimed style guru, so I guess they are ugly!!

There is no doubt they are ugly. My students at work all tell me they are quite comfy though. However, I shall never wear such things. Besides their ugliness, they are quite un-manly.

It gives me the willies just looking at them (my 13 year old would turn inside out if he knew I just typed 'willies' on an internet forum ).

I know people say they're comfortable, and they probably are. I can't speak intelligently about them and I admit it. But they're just seriously, seriously nasty to look at and I have never seen anyone who looks good wearing them.

That said, more power to you if you have 'em and love 'em. Wear what works! But I agree, all the posts about a goofy shoe are like biting on broken glass after a while.

I agree very ugly I do own 1 pair that I bought 2 weeks ago and I've worn shoppin and around the house. I can't wear them without socks to sweaty and I can tell they will not make it any further than the pool if that far at disney they just not that comfy for me. Got a nortons neuroma problem on bottom of foot and need lots of firm support and the crocs just not givin me enough.

OH and I wore them out a couple times when DH and I went out in the evening I got all kinds of comments about my crocs such as kickin the poop out of barney and gettin barney poop all over my shoes. Yes they purple not so much by choice but what store had when I bought my shoes.

I just bought Crocs tonight.... the flip-flops anyway. When I tried them on, I thought they were very comfy and much more stylish than the shoes. We ended up buying 3 pair... myself, DH and DS.

I hated these shoes when my brother first got a pair. Then I started seeing more and more topics on here. I bought the niles and loved how comfy they are. I also bought 2 pairs of flip flops and my girls have a pair they call their squishy shoes.

Thought they were totally ugly when I first saw them... that really never goes away. But man, are they comfortable. I'm packing right now for my trip and pulled them out from last summer... now I'm wearing them as slippers and loving them all over again.

I have read a lot of the threads on Crocs mostly for the entertainment value but I must say the wife and I were shopping at Cabela's this past weekend and they had the Crocs there. I told her she was supposed to get a pair because they were the "shoe to have" for Disney trekking. Well she got a look on her face that made me think she was going to have an ill moment but as we turned the corner we spotted the Keens. Now these aren't the prettiest shoes either but she wound up dropping 85 bux for a pair and I gotta tell ya I may get a pair myself. They look very comfy and breathable for hot days. She says she's gonna use them for our boat this summer. There is a shoe/sandal I could live with. I love my sandals but the Keens have the toe protection my sandals do not have. Sorry to go "off brand" but those Crocs are wicked ugly. YUK!
