I feel your pain! I have been buying them forever too! I will most likely have 3 in diapers when this little one is born!Hopefully my almost 2 year old will be potty trained or close to. My daughter has developmental delays and I don't forsee her being potty trained for many more years.
So, we just keep buying 'em....no choice in the matter....an no, we won't use cloth diapers.
For all those of you still buying diapers for little ones with special needs.
..You may want to check with your insurance company. My son has autism and we found out that we would have qualified for financial aid to help pay for diapers after a certain age. If your insurance company won't, then often times children with special needs qualify for financial assistance through your state. I forget the specifics but when we looked at the paperwork you could order a case of diapers from a participating pharmacy(like CVS) and they would pay for them. By some miracle my son is almost completely potty trained (with the exception of a pull-up at night) so we didn't look into it any further. HTH!
