anyone else hate buying certain necessities??

Buying toothpaste makes me crazy! To me, and IMHO, its like the expression "buying a dead horse" (don't know where that expression came from but it sums up my feelings!!)

What necessities do you hate spending money on?

To those of you getting *free* Toothpaste - anyone want to trade for something? Like formula coupons (I have LOTS) or anything you hate buying?

(hope this is okay to ask here? PM if you want to! I'm serious, I really hate buying toothpaste!!!!)

I used to hate buying maxi pads, but having a semi-continent male dog has cured me of this. I go through a case of overnight pads every week to 10 days. I'm sure the folks at BJs wonder how many ladies live in my house!

Deodorant. It’s expensive and once I find one I like I can’t find the same smell again. I also get weird looks because I’m female and I like guys deodorant. I’m sorry I don’t want to smell like fruit or flowers. I find coupons and go to self checkout so I don’t have to deal with prices or weird looks.

I buy mine at the grocery store checkout. Not only is it more convenient, but our grocery store gives gas discounts for spending money there, so it adds up that way.

My mom wears men's Speed Stick, lol. I can't use them because I've got problems and can only use Dove (allergies and I need the extra moisture) and not even other women's... but anyway I used to haha.

As far as the people looking at you weird... well I buy "mens" stuff for DF all the time, not necessarily when I'm buying stuff for me. I never thought that someone might look at me oddly haha!

I hate buying contact solution. It is so darn expensive and I am afraid to ever change brands due to some eye sensitivites (geesh I am sounding like a real winner here, can't use many deodorant brands and I have eye problems). And I feel like I am always running out!

I hate buying TP too. I didn't when I only had one bathroom... but with three, for some reason, even though there's still just the two of us, we seem to use more???

I also hate when they stop making something I'm used to buying, because then it will take me foreverrrr standing in front of the other brands trying to decide which one to buy... when in the end I'll get frustrated and buy several or none.

shoes and clothes for my son. A month ago I spent $56 for a pair shoes and the sole is completes worn out. (we did do Disney with the shoes)
Same for pants, purchased a month ago for about 27 and almost too short already.
He's a weed with feet, not a boy.

So anyone want to trade? I keep reading about all the free toothpaste people get (we don't have cvs) but I still get tons of $5 off Baby Formula coupons, and other stuff, and hate buying toothpaste!

I probably have a years supply of deodorant, toothpaste....and about a 3 year supply of toothbrushes.

Kleenex and TP I hate buying. It does seem like I'm running out all the time!
