anyone else hate buying certain necessities??

I am totally on board with all of these!

I hate to buy TP, deodorant, etc.

I used to hate buying tampons and pads and contact solution until I took care of those needs by having a hysterectomy and Lasik eye surgery (NOT just so that I wouldn't have to buy these items anymore but I really love that I don't have to! ).

I also HATE buying milk ($4.39/gallon) and bread ($3.39/loaf).

I don't buy Kleenex or paper towels anymore!! I feel that we can get away without spending the money and will use them too fast if I do buy them so we just do without.

I hate buying tampons. Last week they had a bunch 75% off at my grocery store and I bought the 15 boxes they had there. For once didn't feel like was being ripped off.

You're first thought might be "EWWWWWWWWWWWWW" (as was mine) but they are GREAT! Cheaper in the long run, you don't have to buy more, and earth friendly.

Even my 13 yr old LOVES her Lunapads! And teens can be kinda weird about those things.

I hate buying dog food. The bags are huge and heavy and with 2 full grown dogs and a puppy I have to buy different formulas for the dogs. And, they just end up crapping it out anyway.

OP, I have tons of toothpaste, but absolutely no need whatsoever for baby formula coupons. Sorry.

My thought too while reading this thread.

You can also use baking powder on a toothbrush for toothpaste.

You can also make your own laundry detergent for about .01 per load!

I don't mind TP. I buy Kirkland's brand and it costs about $5/month at most.

I am SO glad I am not the only person in the world that HATES buying this stuff.

Toliet paper, Laundry soap, and FABRIC softner it all seriously goes in the trash or down the drain. CRAZY!

This will sound silly but I hate spending money on birth control pills they are 40 bucks and I take them for medical reasons and not to prevent pregnancy.I hate it.

I also live with two other people who refuse to chip in for the laundry soap and tolit paper.

I hate paying for garbage bags! Irks me to have to pay for something for the sole purpose of throwing it away. I mean, at least kleenex and toilet paper have another job to do before they're thrown away, but garbage bags?...the only reason we buy these is to throw them away!

I hate buying clothes and I need to pretty badly. They are so expensive and it seems every nice looking shirt I have major cleavage in or it's too tight in the bust. For pants, the regular length is too short and the the longs are too long. Plus I'm at a size between misses and womens so I can't fit in anything anywhere. I hate it hate it hate it!

I probably have a years supply of deodorant, toothpaste....and about a 3 year supply of toothbrushes.

Kleenex and TP I hate buying. It does seem like I'm running out all the time!

Kleenex is a dirty word in my house, we never buy it. If I have a cold I use a roll of TP, it's softer than kleenx. if it is good enough for my bum than it's good for my nose!

Me, too. I do use any bags received from stores as garbage bags though. My bathrooms and bedrooms all use the plastic grocery bags. In the kitchen I try to buy a few as possilbe and reuse all the larger bags from Kohls, Sears etc. Just any idea.

Is there a CVS in your area? I have'nt paid for toothpaste for 3 years. I roll my extra care bucks into all my neccessities. They are always running free after ecb deals on toothpaste,deodorant. I still have plenty of tolietpaper and papertowels, but stocked up with buy 20get10 ecbs this week. It's a great week to start CVSing. Couponing and shopping CVS save me so much money.

I hate buying all of the things listed in this thread. LOL.... BUt, I do CVS a lot and haven't actually "Paid" for some items (ie: toothbrushes, toothpaste, and some other items) in a VERY long time.

But yeah, pretty much everything listed in this thread, I hate to buy. Heck, I hate buying food! LOL...so expensive these days and really, it goes in and comes back out. (sorry for any mental images that may have caused people)

I hate spending any money on my car, it seems like such a waste!! LOL

Also, haircuts, bra and underwear too!!! They are so dang expensive.

I don't have too much problem finding sales and using coupons for the smaller items mentioned. Tires and meds are on my list too.

What really gets me these days is milk and eggs.
