Like most of the people on this board I have grown up with Disney. My aunts made sure I saw every Disney animated movie in the theater since I was born in 1975. Before my familiy had cable I loved visiting my relatives who did just so I could watch the Disney Channel.
However I never had the opportunity to go DisneyWorld or Land. So when my wife and I got married 5 years ago, I was thrilled when she thought that a DisneyWorld trip would be a great honeymoon spot. We actually registered at our AAA office and our family and friends paid for the entire thing. So at the age of 25 I finally was able to visit the place I had been dreaming of my whole life.
Needless to say, I cried so many times that week I think my wife probably thought I was nuts. I cried as we approached MK our first morning, especially when I saw the castle. When I met Mickey, walking through the gates at Epcot, taking the tour at MGM, going the Haunted Mansion, at Fantasmic, walking in the falling snow with my wife at
MVMCP, and a few other times when I realized that I was really there.
So now we leave in 10 days for our 2nd trip and we are taking my 2 1/2 DD who is (like most girls her age) into the princesses. But I am pleased to announce that I have done my best to introduce her to as many other Disney Characters and she seems to have most of them down so she should recognize any character we meet.

Granted, I have had the waterworks flowing the last month whenever I see how happy she gets just looking at pictures with me on DISboards.
