Not a thread killer, but when your post is completely skipped over or your new post quickly disappears to the 2nd page. My poor self esteem is frolicking with the worms.....no longer in the dirt, but now below ground level.

Well, don't feel bad - Not only am I a thread killer, i'm ALSO invisible...Nothing like killing two birds with one stone...

My favorite is when I will say something and then a couple posts after mine somebody else will say almost the exact same thing and the OP will respond to that person and not to me. I'll check my back to see if I'm wearing the "Ignore Me" sign!

LOL!! I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one that feels this way!! I haven't quite gathered up the nerve to point it out when it happens, but oh have there been times when I wanted to!!

At one point, I was pretty sure there was a let's ditch the Kama chick conspiracy. I could just see the PMs... "Pssst, put Kama on your list. Pass it on".

There is one poster who has ignored me so many times that I finally figure out that I must be on their ignore list.

I also think I must be on some ignore lists.

I've actually considered testing that theory by posting something extremely obnoxious and offensive. "Hmm, let's see if they respond to THIS!"

I'll admit I'm the same, I would never start a thread on the CB, too scared that people would ignor me!! I'm usually hesitant to even reply to threads (you should feel honoured!! lol) as I fear people will either disagree and attack me or just ignor me. I think the only reason I have such a high thread count is because I'm a regular on one particular thread where I feel comfortuble.

I hear ya, been there, done that,got the t-shirt. I have quite a few posts but am never really paid a lot of attention to. I have had some pretty good discussions over the years but for the most part a lot of the threads I try to start just fade to page two and beyond before I get many replies. No worries, I just keep on reading and contributing my two cents.

I think it is about the BLING. We like SHINEY or MOVING Objects. You guys need to add BLING to your signature.

So we have a 4-page thread, near the top of probably the busiest forum in all of DISland, about people being ignored?

Seriously, I know the feeling. I posted what I thought was a pretty humorous poll recently about those nasty turkey legs. A lot of people voted, but I had trouble getting people to post comments. So I kept bumping up the thread with "updates" as to how the poll responses were going.

I also did a mock poll once, in Theme Parks, to satirize all the Crocs threads that keep popping up. I'm not sure if anyone got my humor in it. Oh well. At least I got a laugh out of creating it.
