Anyone else do the DVC Riviera Survey?

We'll see. I'm really surprised that, aside from what we can guess from construction photos, there is no more official information about the Riviera than there is about the newly announced River Country area hotel/DVC.

I hope they're planning for a big reveal at the condo association meeting in December, just a few weeks away. However the most important thing (points chart) won't probably be revealed until they're ready to start sales.

I'm hoping for the same - I think they "unveiled" CCV at the annual meeting, didn't they? I remember seeing a short film (the promo film they used for the website). It at least gave an idea of what the decor would be, and I believe they announced that it would have Studios through 3-bedroom Grand Villas and also introduced the cabins. Can't remember whether they announced the points chart then or not.

My big downside is the transportation. I'm not thrilled about the gondolas. I want to know if they will also offer bus transportation or if the gondola is it to Epcot and DHS, like the monorail at the MK resorts. Even if they do offer bus service, busses to all 4 resorts is a big downside. I'll keep my BWV!

I have to admit I'm intrigued by this resort. It sounds really flexible for people like us. The idea of a two person room for a quick trip down with my husband for a long weekend sounds great. I'm not really interested in cooking unless I'm there for longer than that. A girl's trip with 2 rooms (because none of us wants to sleep on a sofa bed) with some spa time and dinner at the rooftop restaurant? Done. A one bedroom for a week with the kids is also doable. My prediction is this place will be a magnet for younger families who want varied experiences.
