I just discovered this thread and read 8 pages into it before I saw how many pages there are can't read them all.

Will be at POP 9/30-10/7 with DH, DS14, DD7 and DS6. We have 2 connecting rooms. DS14's friend bailed out on us, otherwise we would have saved some $$ by staying at POR.

We are driving down from MA, leaving after 11am on 9/29 so the kids get credit for that day at school. Plan to arrive sometime in the evening of 9/30. CRO has assured us that we can check in remotely for this night if something happens and we don't make it to Orlando that day. Can't miss out on free dining!!!

Will be attending MNSSHP on 10/2. Just bought our pirate costumes this weekend. I know, we won't be very original, but I wanted us to match as a group and pirates were the only thing all the kids agreed on. We have an extra ticket we bought for DS14's friend who is not coming. If anyone needs an extra ticket, let me know. I may bring it with me and try to give it to someone that day.

Anyone else planning on being early for opening of MK on 10/1? We are excited to be there for the premier of "The Year of a Million Dreams" and are wondering if anything special will be happening that day.

We are also concerned about how we will be able to handle both free dining and F&W festival. Have done both before, but not at the same time!

From what I saw there are FIVE fridge swaps going now, and my dates were taken for all of them....I thought I had one, and then my name wasn't on the list I've given up.

I got a PM yesterday, asking if I was interested....they only had my 1st 2 days and last 2 days available...wanted to know if I'd also be willing to babysit it for FREE!!!! I jumped all over it..but not for free, I'm not that cheesy!!!

I'm not sure we could do one since we'll all be there at the same times!!! I wonder how Pop is going to react to a whole bunch of fridges being carted in and left for the next guest to pick up?? Can't see them being too thrilled with any of that!! I'm also involved in the 'window decorating' swap..same deal..pick up the box at check-in, leave for next guest when checking out, etc.!!! Phew...I've got soooo much 'extra' stuff packed for this trip it's not even funny!!!!

Just went out again trying to hunt down those elusive "Hello..my name is" name tags!!!!! Anyone else know where they may be able to pick them up???

Also bought 2 packs of those jumbo ziplock travel bags for putting outfits in, already matched up, etc. They are GREAT!!!!!!! I will be putting 1 full outfit in each one (shorts, shirt, socks, underwear) in each one for Brett!! That way, they just grab a bag and everything is already together!!! No more rifling around my oh so organized drawers!!!! Lots of other packing tips I've been getting on the board also,,used some before but I do have some new ones!!! I am TOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I saw some of those name tags at Staples or Office Max. When you don't want to find them, you see them all over the place.

I think I'll scrap the fridge idea. Not sure what I'd put in it anyway! We won't have a car to go buy pop or what not. I will have my refillable mug however.

I'm off to have lunch with some of my fellow Claymates (Clay Aiken fans for all of you not in the know). That's another group of crazy people I've met because of the internet. Wouldn't trade them for anything.
