Anyone else a *closet* Disney Nut??

Alright by looking at me you would never ever in a million years guess that I am a Disney fanatic....I don't wear Disney clothes I don't have any Disney housewares and to be totally honest I don't even own any mouseears (GASP!!) I LOVE Disney though....this will be my 6th trip in 6 years with my Dh and totally lovin' it....my kids are starting to catch on too!!

Sweetie, COME OUT OF THAT CLOSET! There are lots of Disney fans out there who feel like they have to hide out (not that there's anything wrong with that). Well I say, get out here! Join the rest of us and enjoy yourself. I wear mickey close to my heart everyday (I have a mickey charm around my neck) and I think people like to see it. It makes me happy to show a little bit of my freakishness, and you wouldn't believe how many of "us" freaks live out there in the real world and not just in cyberspace here in the "Dis".

So embrace it and join the rest of us Be proud!

I "came out of the closet" about 4 years ago, but I am not a "collector". I have VERY few things Disney items, this year I seem to be more geared on a theme for the upcoming trip. I must be getting the TRUE Disney sickness (ain't it great?)

Disney bandaids, disney towels, disney beach bag for water parks, disney T-shirts. And always looking for more, but only needs, not wants. Like with the beach bag, wanted something light to carry into the waterparks, Wal-Mart had beach bags, grabbed one for less than $10. We live in Florida and usually hit the beach every other weekend(when the sharks don't close down our beaches-like they have lately-even then we go shark hunting-from the shore only of course) and never have owned a beach bag for that- in my life.

The most I have bought for the house, per se, DS9 (8 at the time a Mickey mouse photo album for pics from last trip) and DS22 (21 then Mickey pic frame from Target for "family photo".

I was one until 2003 right before Grad Nite. I took my first solo trip that wasn't a field trip or family vacation... I've been hooked and proud of it ever since!

I know what you mean! Not many people know how obsessed I am with Disney--I also don't own any Disney shirts (usually because I can't really find one I like) I only own Mickey Ears and a Mickey and Minnie dolls.

Ever since I have discovered the Dis Boards though I have noticed I am talking more and more about Disney World to others. I think everyone knows about my upcoming trip!

This trip I hope to get a Disney shirt (Finally!) and some other Disney merchandise. My BF and I want to get some things for our kitchen.

I know what you are saying, at work, I get that look when I tell them the cost of a family trip (I am not paying for it all, the two oldest boys 23 and 22 when have paid for their trip (when it has gotten here), their hotel, food, etc.) I will cover gas, I will pay the same if they come or not. Will give them extra snacks, food, drinks, I buy...why not? But for the cost, I am booking and paying everything before we go, they give me weekly installments for reimbursements, because I have the credit cards and the determination to get things rolling, they love the pleasure of sitting back and letting others do the work. The only drawback for them, I get to ride rides while they watch over DS9 who won't ride everything I want. Then we split up and meet up the next morning. It's win-win for everyone!!

Add me to the list of Closet Disney World Fanatics. Only my family knows how fond I am of Disney World. They can't believe how much I know about the World. If my boss at work knew how much I love DW he would probably fire me! He thinks Disney World is for little kids and sissies. How wrong he is. Let him believe that. If everyone thought like us DW would be a crowded place!

I'm a teen and I am DISNEY PROUD BABY! My friends think I'm a freak sometimes.. for example at the play we went to for Beauty and the Beast I was singing along since I know all the lyrics and they think I'm a loser but it's okay because I HEART DISNEY

Although my family & friends know I love Disney, they don't have any clue how often I'm here talking about it.

My small mickey shaped earrings are their only clue-kind of like my own little hidden mickey!!

I came out of the closet a longtime ago too! Actually I don't think I was ever in...I just found the DIS years ago and realized there were thousands of other Disney nuts out there just like me...what a terrific thing that was!!

Ya know I'm a Disney addict the minute you get out of the car at my house and see the Mickey stepping stone! I have a touch of the mouse all around the house!

Everyone who knows me, knows that I am crazy about WDW. However, I do not wear Mickey clothing, I don't have Mickey everywhere (actually, anywhere...with the exception of some books, and my Mickey Mouse watch collection in a drawer in my bedroom) in my home. My husband has one t-shirt, though (the WDW motorcycle one). If you didn't know me, you would not know that I am a WDW fan, either. That doesn't mean that I am not obsessed with WDW, I just don't like wearing Disney clothing.

That's us... DW and I love the parks, but don't really feel compelled to wear lots of Disney stuff or decorate with Disney paraphenalia (not that there's anything wrong with that ). We do enjoy "talking Disney" when we find a kndred spirit though. DW cares nothing about these boards, but I love them.

Well, DH cares nothing about these boards, either. I am always calling him to the computer to look at a pic, or read something funny to him. He replies "OK..." and then looks at me like I am insane! He loves the parks as much as I do, but he thinks that I get way to excited about reading about other people's vacations, etc. LOL I just don't see a problem with that!! *wink*

I came out of the Disney Closet about 5-6 years ago. It was a huge relief. Now no one is surprised by anything I do Disney related....they kinda expect it now.
